Advanced Case Studies in Fashion Entrepreneurship
In the beginning of Ester break I stated to find an agent in Saudi Arabia. I tried to contact some of my friends and asked them about the best ways to find an agent. Much effort had been made before I found two of them. The first one is a private agent. She wants to display the twotreehouse products in a beauty salon. The second one is Saleh Hamad Abdullatif who owns the company ‘Abdullatif for Beauty’. It is quite a big company in Saudi Arabia that`s why I preferred this agent. This company can distribute twotreehouse products in a better way both in most of the shops and in the markets as well. It will also be easier to communicate with the company than a special agent in order to provide all the contracts and clear conditions which the company already has. As for the agent, you need to clarify a lot of things to him.
After Ester break we met with D.Carol to discuss the key points for the second report, in which we had to find enough data about the product entering to the Saudi market and more information about Saudi Customs.
The second step was Saudi Customs. I found a website and the video explanation for all the documents required to export twotreehouse products to Saudi.
The third step I made was an interview with my cousin Ayush Mousa, a store manager of ‘Sephora’. I got a lot of useful information from her. She also gave me good pieces of advice and some business ideas.
On week 6 I was very sick and went to the hospital. I was operated on my stomach and as a result had to stay in the hospital for three more days. So, I didn`t study or do anything this week. The only thing I managed to do was my help to Asma in the distribution of a ‘What`s up survey’ to get high percentage of the answer.
On week7 I will start to put all the information together to write my part of the report.
