- What is your attachment and relationship style
Basing on the fact that my attachment related avoidance score is 2.20 on a scale ranging from 1-7, this entails that I have a low avoidance attachment. Furthermore, it entails that I have a low dimension, hence I am usually less worried about matters related to whether my partner loves me, and hence I don’t fear rejection. Therefore, this tends to demonstrates that my relationship style is based on a secure perspective. This shows that I have a positive view on relationship issues, and hence secure attachment helps me to be emotionally available and appropriately responsive to my partners’ character (Brannon, 2011).
- Are you surprised by the results
I am not surprised by the results as it is m personality, and it is what encompasses me as an individual in the society. Thus, it is the reason s to why I am the person that I am, and I believe that the results that I got are genuine (Brannon, 2011).
- Do you agree with the results, why or why not?
I agree with the results got as I undertook the test as per instructions, and it is what I am as an individual. Furthermore, from my early life, I have developed a secure attachment to my primary caregivers which has remained constant. I believe that it is relatively easy for me to become emotionally close to my partner because it will make me feel comfortable depending on my partner and vice versa. In addition, I agree with the results as I often tend to balance intimacy and independence in my relationship (Brannon, 2011).

My attachment and relationship style is reflective of my home atmosphere. This is true as I have reported greater attachment in my relationships, especially with people who have surrounded me. This is true as I have always been comfortable being there for others and vice versa, ultimately it has contributed to the results and relationship status as indicated in the attachment (Brannon, 2011).
- Are the gender differences that appear in children’s friendships the same as in adult’s friendships?
The gender differences that appear in children friendships are the same as that of adult friendship. This is so as the kinds of individual differences observed in infants, caregivers relationships are similar to the ones observed in romantic relationships (Brannon, 2011).
- Describe the function, and disadvantages of dating for adolescence
Dating is imperative as it allows a person to be one on one with the person to determine their compatibility and decide if the person involved would like to pursue a deeper relationship. The disadvantage of adolescents dating is that there might be presence of extreme instability, mood swings, contradictory feelings and reckless actions (Brannon, 2011).
- Describe and compare the companionship, independence, and interdependence blueprints for love relationship
Companionship is an interpersonal relationship between two or more individuals that may range from fleeting to enduring, where as interdependence is a reciprocal relation between interdependent entities. Additionally, interdependence blueprints for love are a reciprocal relation between interdependent entities. There is also the issue of independent which entails that there ought to be the presence of mutual reliant on each individual involved in the relationship (Brannon, 2011).
- What do couples believe and what do they practice concerning power in intimate relationships? What factors influence power in relationships? Does the sexual orientation of the couple have an impact on power?
Couples believe in the power of love, and they practice on how to relate with each other in order to have a good relationship. Factors that influence power in a relationship is love, secretes, sincerity and trust. The sexual orientation has an impact on power as it trends to bring the couples closer and open (Brannon, 2011).
- What factors relate to the stability of love relationships? What factors have little relationship?
The factors that relate to the stability of love relationships are honesty, trust, love and caring and factors that have little relationship are stability and openness (Brannon, 2011).
- According to divorced people, what are the disadvantages of divorce? Do they believe that there are advantages?
The disadvantages of divorce are that it creates hatred, regret and disappointments. Therefore, this entails that divorced people have no advantages for the approach. This is true as they had initially entered a marriage happily but divorcing tends to demoralize their personality and the family as a whole (Brannon, 2011).
- Evaluate the statement: Across time and cultures, economics plays an important role in gender equality in marriage relationships
The statement entails the empowerment and autonomy of women and the improvement of their economic status as imperative ends in themselves. This is so as it has been an increased emphasis on the importance of a rights-based approach to planning and programming generally on issues related to marriage relationships (Brannon, 2011).
