Religious Life In Future Essay Samples

Religion has always played a significant role in the life of people. It does not matter man believes in God or not, religion will affect his life in any events. It is obvious that religious beliefs will be an important part of people’s life in the future.
There are two possible scenarios of future events. One of them, religious life can go into decline, but it will not disappear. I think religion will convert or, better to say, will lie in another place. In consequence of technological and technical progress, people will increase their knowledge and religion can become unnecessary and even became a survival of times past. It does not mean that people will forget about the religion absolutely, they will keep only some traditions that propagate for years or even decades.
We can observe this tendency even now. For example, Christmas is a religious holiday, that adores all men, woman, and children around the world. It did not lose its religious essence, yet, but it can happen in future. Christmas will become a good family tradition when the whole family will come together around the festive table, give each other presents and wish Merry Christmas and Happy New Year without some religious sense. I cannot deny the fact that there will be people who will have close ties with religion. But there will be the very few of such people. Religion will not be forbidden by the law, but it will lose its importance in comparison with modern time. The main positive of this scenario is that there will be no wars because of religion. As for me, this scenario has not so many chances to turn into reality.
The second scenario has more chances to become real. I have to say that this scenario of future religious life is not so positive. In future, the influence of religion on people will increase, but not at all people, only on average folks and on poor people.
There is tendency more and more people become believers. And as a result, religion will penetrate in all spheres of life, even more, that it is today. Religion will affect everything. More and more wars and conflicts will begin because of it. Even political sphere will be affected by religion. The bright manifestation of this we can see nowadays. ISIS and its influence on the world society have put the religion on the other stage. This fact is a bright evidence of turning into reality the second scenario.
I’m sure, that religious life will change in future, but for now I do not manage to say how it will be. The one thing I have to say is that religion will be an important part of human’s life for many decades to come.
