According to the sacred synod, the new covenant people have been likened to Abraham’s stock. The Christian church recognizes that owing to the way God saves, the way her faith starts and her anointment can be related directly to the patriarchs, the prophets and Moses. The church acknowledges that her salvation is due to those people in the Old Testament who were saved from bondage.
The church has faith that upon his death, Christ reconciled both the Jews and the Gentiles and by himself he made them one. The church believes in the words of the Apostle of which he talks about his kinsmen. He says that the glory, the covenant, the law and the worship belongs to them. He also says that from their fathers that Christ-the son of the Virgin Mary arose from.
The holy writings affirm that Jerusalem was against the gospel. A large number of people revolted against the gospel. It is said that the almighty favors the Jews because of their fathers. With one accord, the church awaits that day that they are not aware of but is only known to God. They promise to call his name in one voice and serve him with loyalty.
It is confirmed that the Jews and their followers steered the death of Jesus Christ. Though the church is composed of new people, this doesn’t mean that they should be rejected or be cursed by the Supreme Being in attempted to imply that this is according to the scriptures.
What people should understand is that it is not according to the catechetical teaching when they teach against the teachings of Christ. The church is against human persecution, hatred and all the misdeeds against man that are triggered by political interests. It is still believed that Christ freely died out of sheer love for the sinful men so as to enable them reach salvation.
