Apple retail operations involve marketing and selling out of its products. Apple products comprise of computer applications, electronics and their basic accessories. The initial stage involves an ample marketing strategy which is meant to create the awareness about apple products as well as the capability of these products in relation to consumer needs. There also requires a better away of service delivery such that once a consumer has placed their order, an effective response is made. Delay in delivery for instance is not only a blow to retail operations but also cripples the initial efforts of marketing.
Impact is normally experienced by the customers based on the level of quality of the company’s products. Therefore, impact is either negative or positive. The total impact is as a result of marketing i.e. the portrayal of the quality of the company’s products and the impact generated by the products themselves in relation to relative products from other companies like Hewlett Packard and Microsoft amongst others.
The company reacts accordingly to market dynamics. The company reacts through product differentiation and cost integration. Product differentiation provides a wide variety of products in the market such that customers have a wide range of products to choose from. Cost truncation involves reduction in production cost such that the price either remains constant or reduces accordingly to meet the affordability of the customers. Reaction to market dynamics is necessary because it enables Apple Company to maintain market command or expansion.
Reaction is important to a great extent especially for the success of the company. However, should be carried out in such a way that other product aspects are not compromised, for instance quality and marketing strategies like advertising and publication.
According to the Jonathan, (2011), current major step that the company has taken is the development of the Apple store application. The application has been developed specifically for, carrying out retail operations across the globe. This has drastically improved customer service delivery. Upcoming customer needs are addressed effectively since; shipping of missing products is done at not extra cost. Apple stores are located strategically across the world. Its services are delivered with a high degree of elegance and in line to the current technology. The company is more involved in facilitating the transaction than the customer, which makes its services user friendly and efficient (Jonathan 2011).
