Through the intranet, training journals and articles can be availed to employees located in various parts of the world. Intranets are also protected and can be only be accessed by authorized individuals. Intranets pose fewer costs which include development and maintenance costs. Lastly, Tesco can adopt electronic mailing listing strategy. This enables all employees in various departments to interact and learn from one another. A trainer is able to respond to questions posed by employees within the group.
