Adding to the above, examples of nations that have performed well include Israel and Egypt. In respect to Zionism, general aspects involve religion, the labor sectors in addition to green form of Zionism. What this means is that the nation of Israel is associated with Jews and their religion as well as traditions that relate to them. These traditions act as a link between the people living in Israel and the Israel land (Senor, 119). The author sights the aspect of chutzpah as being the motivator for entrepreneurship in Israel. What this means is that if someone in Israel has a business idea today, he or she will start the business immediately.
First, the author views Israel as being the best in the production of startup kind of companies compared to other economies like China that have more resources. Outside the United States, Israel has the largest number of startup companies that are high tech. For example, the Cisco Company which has made great strides in technology is a production of the country. These companies are a key factor in talent growth and investments by foreigners who buy these companies and expand them. For example, the president of PayPal bought fraud sciences company of Israel at a very high cost in two thousand and seven.
The second aspect the book puts emphasis on is the idea of Chutzpah. There is no precise meaning of the ideology but in general it means having guts to try something new. Authors of the book single out the search engine companies like goggle and others like proctor and gamble that received a major increase in revenue during the economic crisis while other companies where making loses. Chutzpah is also evident in Israel daily activities where students ask critical questions as well as speaking their mind. Moreover, employees will constantly keep challenging their employers with new ideas. In the United States, only a section of the people practices this whereas in Israel, it is practiced across all sectors.
The Zionism movement of politics has ensured that elected leaders administer their people using an excellent style. This has led to formation of a good structure of governance in the country and in turn enabling the country to stand out as a startup nation. In addition, Zionism has led to a revolution in Israel that joins Jews as well as non Jews in terms of their traditions which ensured that they live in harmony as far as the new era of the modern world is concerned hence Jews have got rid of many traditional values. Hence, the cultural beliefs of all the people in Israel are united making the country very peaceful hence more investments are made in the country (Saul, 78).
Moreover, the author views the geopolitical form or level in Israel as leading to the formation of policies in all sectors of the economy, hence answering the question of why Israel has many companies. However, the authors did not review the aspect of negative impact of these companies on the economy and the world in general.
In conclusion, the author’s main idea in the book is that with investment in innovation, creativity and research, any nation in the world can increase its earnings. However, the authors need to review the negative impacts of technological knowhow to the society. For example, there have been security concerns over Israel’s military equipments which they use in attacking other countries when they are at war. Therefore, it is important that countries encourage their citizens to implement any idea even if there is risk of failure.
