Question 2
The excerpt has evidence of dissociation and association. The writer uses pre- conceived ideas that the reader may have and then uses those ideas to set the G cube apart. First, the writer uses the size of known desk-top models, and then he compares with the small size of the G cube. Then the writer compares the known processing power of ordinary PCs and that of supercomputers. The writer then associates the processing power of the G cube with that of super computers. This sets the processing power of the G cube on a level of super computers and distances it from the computing power of ordinary PCs.
