Thesis: Bottled water should not be sold since tap water is equally as good and less processed. The idea of bottling water is rather repugnant as it is simply packaging safe water only to increase the prices. Instead, water should just be tapped and distributed to the population at a cheaper price.
Introduction statement: Bottled water is business ran by huge conglomerates such a Coca Cola, Pepsi and Nestlé. These organizations have since realized that there exists a huge market for bottled water and took steps to make the most of the presenting opportunity. To this end, bottled water has become a part of daily living making the companies record immense profits. This success in the bottled water business has come at price. Bottled water is extremely expensive for the consumer. Either, bottling companies do not consider the needs of the people who own the land from whence the water is drawn.
Main Argument: Bottling of water has hugely impacted the community and in a negative way. Bottlers make the most out of the business while neglecting the need to preserve the source of the water.

Paragraph 1: The average united States citizens is in the habit of consuming bottled water and thus spends a lot of income on bottled water
Paragraph 2: Tap water may be safe for consumption
Evidence: bottling of water undergo processing in order to give the water a fizzing look. This involves inclusion of chemical that may be unhealthy.
Counter Argument:
Bottled water is huge business that provides several citizens to jobs as well as ensuring that the products reaching the consumers are safe.
Evidence: bottled water is a $7 billion business with enormous beneficial impacts on the economy
Conclusion
Pundits may argue that bottled water is big business, however, only a few citizen draw direct benefits from the business. On the other hand, tap water is perfectly healthy water that can be cheap and easily available for everyone.
