Part 1
Principle of physical science is the procedure and the concepts employed by the people who study the inorganic world. There are challenges that come up when the scientists try to measure the organic world. One of the challenges that the scientists face when trying to measure the organic world is because some of the things are God created and there is no measure that can be applied. For example it becomes extremely hard for an astronomer to try and count the number of stars in the sky or the difference in distance between one star and the other. The other challenge that is experience by the scientists when trying to measure the objects in the earth’s surface is because most of the objects involved cannot be handle physical or thy cannot be measured physically (Elias, Mennell, 1998). For example, scientists cannot measure the diameter of the earth. This is because the earth is not proportional and one cannot transverse through the measuring its diameter. The other challenge is that there is there are no direct measurement tom measure fault lines because they are way below the surface of the earth.
However, the fact that these things do not have a direct measurement has not made the scientist give up on their quest to find a measurement on these things. They have continually used the indirect measurements that have proven to be of significant help in learning physical sciences. One of the indirect methods that they have used is the parallax method. This method involves triangulation. This method involves the astronomer looking at the star and recording its location and viewing it again after six months. It is depicted that the astronomer can be able to measure the distance of the angle of viewing. The other method that has been of great importance in the astronomy industry is the spectroscopic method that is mainly focuses on the brightness of the stars. The other method that is of substantial importance is the Hertzsprung-russel diagram that mainly focuses on the use of brightness, class, color and temperature.
Part 2
One of the most influential technic in the physical sciences is the quantum tomography. This is because this is one technique that has allowed researchers to measure the wave function. The technique was apprehended because it could gather information about conjugate variables. It is estimated that the technique employs a trick to measure one property independently and still obtain the measurements of the second property significantly. The other historic technique in the measurement of the physical sciences is the cosmic distance ladder. It has been depicted that this method has been of great help in the industry because it has enabled the astronomers to measure the real distance between celestial objects. It is estimated that the objects in question can be within a thousand parsecs to earth (Riley, 1974). According to astronomers, this is the only method that has brought sanity in the astronomy since time immemorial.
Part 3
One of the hazards associated with physical sciences is the asteroid impacts. It has been established that the asteroid hitting the earth has been and can devastating. This is because of the force that these asteroids land with. In order to curb the effects of the asteroids there has been the invention of the radar astronomy that monitors and deals with the adverse effects of the asteroids. The invention of the radar astronomy has been of significant importance to the physical sciences world as the people are always warned of any effects of the asteroids (National Research Council, 2008).
Part 4
Advancements in the physical sciences might have a significant effect on the safety of the global community.one of the impacts is by contributing to the global health. The inventions in the physical science industry have been known to result to exposing most people to death when they are trying to see whether their invention is workable. The other thing is that the advancements can lead to the building of strong economy. it is depicted that the communication, research and other things that are involved in the physical science can offer career opportunities to people contributing to the majorly on the society. These people can be taxed which can lead to the globe having a sustainable economy (Birren, Kenyon, Ruth, Schroots, & Svensson, 2004). The other thing is that advancements in the physical science industry have contributed to informed decisions that impact the world. This is because the study is aimed at explaining the dependency of living things on each other on the physical environment. This will make people to associate with other others harmoniously through the realization that they cannot make it alone in the society. The other thing is that it will ensure future support of scientific research and advancements. It will ensure that the future innovators get the full support from the government. The other thing is that it will greatly help in the production of responsible citizens. The advancements in the industry will make sure that the people involved in the processes work extremely hard to better their lives. This means that the world will have more responsible people.
