In latest years, tuberculosis was a minor concern until in the recent years in Lull County. The county report shows a standard of three cases reported in the year since 1995 - 2001. During the following year, that is 2002, six new TB cases were recognized in a period of three months. Different from the past years, infected were fresh settlers Salvadoran people (McNeil, 2005). The primary objective of the program evaluation to establish the efficiency of the Program when it comes to putting off TB transmission among the immigrants. To attain above overarching aim, plan goals were established for projects first year. Since the program and problem were new, precise baselines are unidentified. Due to the Programs effort, improvement of the treatment plan was done, employment and education of Lay Health Advisors, TB education carried out, test carried out, recommendations made, and administration of DOT. The evaluation queries asked were: Has the right personnel been employed? Are all TB project employees trained correctly in practice and cultural fitness of TB? The assessment team used multiple sources of data since the plan was not huge, the high need of gathering information, and the need for wide information.
The findings are: availability of qualified personnel, two LHAs of diverse sex among employees, both are Spanish being familiar and used to Salvadoran way of life, LHAs has required education, all personnel are trained, and other health center employees were taught in operating with Salvadorian customs for both TB and LHAs capability approaches, training involved important areas (Hatry, 2013). The findings will help the staff refine plan tactics for the plan, help guide the program to give prominence to areas that are most imperative for effective service delivery, public health experts will utilize them to advance their medicinal practices, health section superintendent will make use of the results to establish the funding program allocation and finally will be useful for upcoming evaluations.
