Love can be considered as a verb. With regard to the Christian setting, love entails doing an action. These actions may be towards God or among human beings. Love for God is more of what believers do unto one another. The guiding factor is what has been clearly laid out in the scriptures, what to do and what not to do. In addition to that love in a human perspective is all the good deeds we do unto others such as helping some in need or even the basic things such as visiting the sick in hospitals or the aged at their homes.
If love were to be considered a noun, then it would have just been a representation of something or someplace somewhere. One would recognize it only after having been in contact with it through experience or being in its presence. In the Christian setting, if love had been just a noun then one would conclude that he or she has loved if they experience a certain feeling.
If love were to be considered a verb, the following are what I would do in order to truly achieve love. First I would love the lord with my heart, soul and mind as guided by the scriptures. This position entails doing all that is required to show this love such as following all the commandments and also showing kindness to others. I would then love my neighbors as I love myself. As a result, I would do unto others what I would wish them to do unto me.
