Restaurant Evaluation- “China Town”
This restaurant is being evaluated on the basis of four factors. Following are the restaurant evaluation details as observed on 4th January 2012:
Service
Service at the restaurant was not very good rather it war poor. There were no attendants at the entry and server was also not very careful about the service quality. While taking the order and while delivering it, there were delays and also even after asking the server for some good food combination, he did not give a valuable advice. To get the server’s attention was the most difficult thing and it spoiled the mood and fun of a good evening.
Food Quality
The food quality was awesome and I must admit that whatever we ordered was prepared very well. The taste and the aroma of the food were delectable. The presentation and garnishing was very beautiful and were self-explanatory. The food looked good and tasted delicious. It seemed that the preparation was hygienic and for the quality of food I can give 10 on 10.
Ambience
Taking into consideration the Chinese environment, décor and environment inside the restaurant was really very nice. It felt like that we entered a beautiful place and all in all the ambience of the place was worth praising. The architecture and interior decoration of restaurant was such that you really feel that you are in China. The place was just perfect for a great evening with your family and friends.
The cleanliness of the place was also worth admiring and gives you an idea about the hygiene of the food.
Prices
About the billing part and as far as the price for food is concerned, I can only say that after having such food, you find it worth paying painlessly. Although prices on the menu of China Town are quite high, in comparison to other similar restaurants. But once you have such food which feels so good to the taste buds, you don’t mind paying a little high price.
Hence, if I have to describe the whole experience of dining at China town I must admit it was a good experience because I never had Chinese food cooked with such perfection but at the same time the service of attendants, servers and even managers was not as per my expectations. The server behaved as if we aren’t the valued customers and gave very little attention to us. The service and delivery time was also very high, and even manager did not bother at all about the satisfaction of the customer.
But the cook managed to preserve the mood of the evening by serving such cuisine that was indeed very neatly and perfectly cooked. In fact, once you see the food you can easily understand that this is going to be very scrumptious and tasteful.
The place also looks very amazing giving you a feel of Chinese architecture and surroundings.
The only aspect that the restaurant team needs to work on is their service and training of their servers, so that every customer feels that they are valued and hosted very well. This is the only limitation of the restaurant otherwise it was a wonderful dining experience.
All that I can say is that the food quality was highly pleasing and delightful and would also recommend the place to others.
