The art belongs to creative activities performed by a human being from the ancient time. There were signs of different arts in the ancient society as well as it is quite common in this ultra-modern society. Art is the way of expressing their feelings by human beings in a more visual manner that make it understandable to the viewer. Visual art contains different areas of creative entertainment activities, such as paintings, music, literature, dance, poetry.
The readings have provided clear insight about the thinking of 2 writers about art. The readings clearly define that art has great influence on human behavior. Different branches of arts can be utilized successfully in order to influence someone to a specific topic. The writing of Allison named “This is our world” clearly expresses the feelings that she has been passed through while looked at a painting of Jesus. She liked that painting and it had brought some great changes on her. She also considers art or artist as a great contributor of the society who has the ability of bringing some changes. (Allison 40). There had similar kind of message on the reading named “Someone is writing a poem” by Rich. She also described that art has the power of influencing the people to achieve anything. She explained about a real life event that has been influenced by the power of different branches of art. (Rich 3). The following discussion clearly shows that both of the agreed on the prospective that art has the ultimate power of influencing people and divert their mind to some specific things or goals.
They do differ in a way while it comes to the valuation or art. Allison has different views compare to Rich. Allison doesn’t prefer the economic valuation or any other valuation in order to find the value of art. The art is considered to be a praiseworthy and a form of creativity that can’t be really defined by price. It contains the love and hard work and passion. Rich has focused on technological and economic prospective that differs from the view of Allison.
