In that respect, this analysis seeks o Identify he specific roles played by such agencies, their benefits providers, and the system as well as their workers’ participation and competencies (Fos & Fine, 2005).To achieve the objective, the analysis uses the case of CDC.
Analysis
Various organizations play different roles in public healthcare both in partnership with government and other health agencies as well as independently. In addition, a collection of governmental agencies seeks to coordinate with non-governmental agencies in enhancing public health care through various approaches. The governmental agencies are involved in the nation and state levels focusing on administration as well as policy development and implementation from state to community levels. One such agency is the CDC.
CDC description and its contribution to the core functions of public health
CDC is a healthy agency that works 24/7 to protect America from Health, safety and security threats, both in US and foreign countries. Whether the diseases are curable or preventable, are chronic or acute, human error or deliberate, start from home or abroad, CDC always fights diseases and support Citizens and communities in doing the same. The CDC have raised the country`s health security as it acts as a Nation`s health protection agency by saving people lives as well as providing protection to people from the many health threats. For CDC to accomplish its mission, it carries out critical science tests and offers health information that provides protection to the country against the dangerous and expensive threats to health, and responds when an emergency arises (CDC, 2015).
CDC as a health agency plays crucial roles in public health.CDC first and foremost detects any emerging and new health threat to a country and also responds to them accordingly and strongly. I have tackled huge health problems that cause disability and death for the Americans and foreigners. It also helps in placing the advanced technology into play so as to ensure that all people are protected and moves around the country promoting safe and healthy behaviors within the Americans. That entails educating the communities on the need to maintain a healthy environment. Further, it trains public health workers including detectives to ensure that health issues are well taken care of in America as a whole. Thus, CDC has acted as the health pulse for America (Amalia & Stephen, 2013).
CDC influence to the health care provider and system as a whole
The CDC is always actively involved in the healthcare security on behalf of the whole nation by always been the leader in confronting disease threats through advanced lab analysis and computing of huge number of data to ensure that they come up with solutions to every health problem as quickly as possible. It puts the latest science in action in tracking diseases and finding what is causing sickness and identifying the best ways to prevent them. It ensures that it passes out knowledge on their findings to each public and all the community health providers so as to ensure that they save more lives and decrease waste of resources as well. In that view, CDC helps the health providers in addressing complex health threats as they provide information on occurrences of such diseases as well as on how to address them (CDC, 2015).
That has greatly reduced health threats not only in the US but also for other countries where its agents operate. CDC is always in the front line to ensure that it fights out every disease before they reach the country by confronting the new terms to ensure that Americans are health security is well taken care of. In America, the CDC also plays a very crucial role to the health providers as well as healthcare system (Amalia & Stephen, 2013). That is through offering the services ensuring that the public health as a whole has well-resourced and strong leaders with capabilities at all levels (local, state and national). Through education as well as outreach in which the agency educates residents as well as health care providers on ways of promoting health and preventing diseases. That enhances the service providers’ efficiency as well as the overall health. Further, its surveillance and assessment of health organizations enhances their service delivery and community healthcare services. That ensures that the Americans are protected from the health threats (Novick, Morrow & Mays, 2006).
Role of agency workers
The CDC agents are the face of CDC to the public and they play very significant roles in America ensuring that the National health safety is at its best. The workers have specific responsibility depending on their competencies and skills. They include Lab analyst who carries out the responsibility of analyzing huge data to come up with solutions to new and emerging health threat before they get to America or before they claim many people`s lives. The Lab analysts are usually high trained professionals who are well experienced in the research field and apply the latest technology and techniques. There are other workers who go around the Nation while promoting and educating the community on the need to maintain a healthy environment (CDC, 2015).
They also educate them on how to maintain healthy and safe behaviors in order to avoid disease breakouts and also to prevent spread in case of a breakout. These are usually people who are skilled in public education. They are social, friendly and with self-charisma while having broader understanding of the society in general and the areas that people should be educated on. The CDC as an agency has very sensitive health detectives who are always there 24/7. They ensure the Nation is not caught off guard by a disease outbreak either from within the country of from foreign countries. That is a crucial group of workers who are highly-trained to be always sensitive to health threats and are informed of occurrences in other countries (Novick, Morrow & Mays, 2006).
Conclusion
In view of the analysis, the CDC plays a great role in detecting and preventing disease outbreaks for the protection of the Americas and foreign nationals across all the regions of their operations. In addition, the agency plays a great role in addressing actual disease outbreaks. Further, the agency educates the society on health practices in addition to sharing information with providers promoting the nation’s overall health status. Finally, it has been identified that the agency relies on the service of highly skilled and qualified personnel who analyze the situations and educate the society.
