The products and services provided in hotels, as a rule, are standard, but sometimes depending on the appointment of a hotel (business, rest) they can have specific nature. For me, the hotel is not just the place for a lodging for the night. It is the temporary house. The house in which everything is brought to perfection. And the most pleasant is that this perfection is not created by me. It isn't necessary to clean, bring things to the order. You can relax, you can behave more freely, it is possible to count on an invisible hand which will bring things to the order, will replace improper things and will help with any situation. After all proceeding from traditional set it is possible to allocate three, in my opinion, best services provided by the hotels:
Preparation of number for sleeping
Minibar
First is room service. It is difficult to overestimate this aspect. It can be a business trip and the food would be ordered at the end of the intense working day. To eat in a bed - it is one of the pleasures forbidden in my own house. Therefore it is twice more pleasant to afford it in a hotel. This service the most necessary. It isn't necessary to prepare dishes, it isn't necessary to lay the table, it isn't necessary to clean later, to wash the dishes. Then in the weakened situation, without thinking over conventions of etiquette, without formalities it would be pleasant for the client to eat the tasty dinner made at the restaurant. Or a trip on rest, when the level of comfort and slackness play a crucial role. The main aspect here is that the food shall be tasty and serve should not differ from that which is performed at the restaurant of a hotel in avoidance of impression of cheap delivery. The client shall feel that the restaurant came to his bed. Besides, in number devices for a convenient meal shall be provided, such as a bedstand, a sliding bedside table, etc.
The second not less pleasant service, which unfortunately is provided not by all hotels is the preparation of number for sleeping. As a rule, such service is rendered in resort hotels though its values in hotels of business type are underestimated. A glass of water and a chocolate on a bedside table, the muffled light, slippers at a bed, the prepared dressing gown. All these are trifles, but they are very pleasant. They get an impression about hotel, force to remember the stay in it with a smile, install desire to return again. An essence here is in invisible care which can be received only in hotel, without feeling obliged, receiving it as though from air. As it was already specified, obscurity is important here - everything has to turn out as if in itself. I consider the staff of hotel to be ideal when its work is imperceptible. It seems that everything is made on wave of a magic wand. When service is persuasive, the personnel scurry about both there and here, and cleaning of the room takes place not in suitable time it spoils all positive impression which objectively exist
The third is minibar. It surely has to be present, otherwise, the impression about the hotel will be spoiled at the same moment when its absence will be found. First, the esthetics of the reduced copies of bottles with various alcohol always call the desire to open and take a sip. Secondly, juice, soda, and snacks can meet suddenly arisen desire of the child to eat something. The minibar is as permission to a privacy. The order of food in number for many people can be already a violation of their personal privacy. The minibar gives the chance to avoid any contacts with the outside world. I don't know whether it is possible to consider it a part of a minibar, but I consider it as services of one category. It is about tea, coffee and a teapot with cups in number. It isn't convenient to go to the restaurant only for a cup of hot drink and it doesn't make sense. Having settled to drink a tea cup in the number much more pleasantly. Perhaps instant coffee will please someone, then it is possible to drink also it.
