Introduction
One of the most important message that is brought out in the film is determination. The movie discourages people from losing hope. After the death of Tomoko , Reiko sits on and start to investigate the mystery about this death. She finds the cursed tape and with the help of her ex-husband she is able to connect the content of the tape with psychic who died 30 years ago and a child sadiko.
The other message that the producer is trying to put across is the theme of death. Many people in the film have lost their lives in a very mysterious way. This death has created a cause of alarm in their similarities hence it becomes necessary to find what might be causing this sudden death.
The film producer also brings the aspect of family in his film. Although Reiko is divorced with her husband , when she tries to find the mystery her ex husband help her as one of the ways to show reconciliation. They have a song with the ex husband hence the importance of family is brought out.
Comparison between Ringu and most western movies.
Rings is a story line is about a family that is surrounded by a mystery , The horror in the movie comes out when the Cursed tape is found. Its different from the most western movie in that , the western movies always use monster creatures to bring out the horror.In this film the horror is brought out when Tomoko and her friends dies at the same time and and all have a horror expression in their faces.
