Dear Hiring Manager:
My name is Supreeya Thammarattanon and I am interested in the internship you have available. I will soon be a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations, and as such I have a diverse skillset that I would love to put to work for you.
I am skilled in multiple industry standard software including but not limited to the Microsoft Office Suite, and many Adobe programs. In addition to my computer skills, I am also a talented linguist, speaking not only English and Thai, but also Japanese and Chinese as well. I have also won a variety of awards such as the Dean’s List and a number of IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education).
But I am more than just a set of skills and awards; I am a human being who participates in the world around me. My extracurricular activities include participation in two different honor societies, the GVSU (Grand Valley State University) Chinese Language and Culture Club, and a variety of volunteer activities. I am a highly motivated individual, who sets goals and accomplishes them.
Finally, you should know that this internship would mean a lot to me both personally and professionally. This would be an opportunity for me to begin my career, and to chart new territories in my learning and experience. You would be doing yourself a disservice by passing on the opportunity to hire someone as bright and motivated as me.
I am highly interested in this position, well qualified, and extremely motivated to succeed. Hiring me, you would receive a great employee, with a diverse skillset and diverse interests, who could add great potential to your business. I’ve submitted my resume along with this cover letter and look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for your time,
Sincerely,
Supreeya Thammarattanon
