The wellbeing of the world should be the bother of every individual. The world almost sunk following lack of adequate facilities to manage waste. Different governments in the world need to come up with adequate plans or strategies that would help them in defining ample waste reduction in specific countries. Ensuring clean environment is one idea that would solve the problems that are associated to excessive waste that is being releases to the atmosphere at current times (Maczulak 138). An outstanding example of countries with exclusive waste problems is the Republic of China. Solving the problem in China would be equally fundamental in eliminating the problem in the globe.
Managing global waste may borrow a lot from use of NGO that would extend strategies from China to the rest of the world on proper waste management strategies. The NGO would undertake different measures in ensuring that the global population does not incur extensive expenses through poor waste disposal. The first problem and the most prevalent in China is air pollution. This is evident from the skies of the country, which are grey in color. This is following existence of excessive smoke in the atmosphere of the country. (Owens 99).The proposed NGO will have a wide range of activities that it will be required to undertake as solutions to the prevalent problems.
The first role that the NGO would be undertaking is extension of producer responsibility and stewardship. This is also known as product stewardship, which requires the country to place shared responsibility for end-of-life product management on producers, as well as all entities present in the product chain. This means that all parties involved should take personal responsibility in ensuring wastes are reduced in the country, as well as the globe (Owens 107).
The manufacturers in the Republic of China, as well as the entire globe must be ready to adhere with the rules set by the specific government. China has become extremely polluted following the inability of the government to pose extensive control of the activities undertaken by the manufacturers in the country. The NGO is proposing that there may be exclusive follow up on the activities of different industries in the country. This is to ensure that industries adhere to the set principles and production techniques set by the government (Maczulak 141). If this principle was extended to the entire world by the NGO, there would be ample platform to deal with the alarming levels of waste disposal in the entire world. The NGO has to recommend various strategies that would be useful in defining success of waste control in the entire world. There must be excellent plans to deal with the alarming forms of waste.
The excessive pollution in China, has not only affected the air of the country so is water, and general plantation of the country. It is wise to let the globe understand that continuity of such problems will result to a lifeless world. The NGO should come up with a program that would address the problems individually. This means that there should be subgroups set aside to deal with specific issues depending on the environment or factors that have been in the environment. Each subgroup will be assigned a factor to deal with in the environment in the bid to resolve the waste accumulation problem in the entire globe (Owens 103). If this strategy was employed in the entire globe, success in resolving the rising cases of waste will be guaranteed.
If the main NGO ensured there is a body that governs clean atmosphere, it would be extremely easy to resolve the problem of air pollution. This must be a body with the capability to reach the globe in any issue concerning the atmosphere. It should be concerned with the rising levels of pollution and analyzing the most probable causes of the rising air pollution in a given country. Also, there must be a body dealing with the safety of the water that is used in the globe. In China, the NGO would work towards ensuring safety of the water in the country. Following excessive release of waste into the water bodies, the NGO would help in regulating waste release into the water. Although, this NGO would work for China at the moment it would be equally significant for the rest of the world in indicating that water is life and it needs to be managed extremely well (Maczulak 134).
The NGO may also seek entrepreneurs who have been able to manage excellent production with proper management of wastes from their industries. These must be people who have previously employed exclusive strategies to ensure that the waste is well managed. In china, there have been different people who are interested in making the environment clean. The NGO should bring on board the entrepreneurs who understand the economic benefits of staying in a clean environment. These are the individuals who may assist in extending the needed information in ensuring clean environment. They are skilled individuals with the capability of changing the environment (Owens 102).
The identified individuals would be extremely useful to the entire globe. The skills that they have already acquired would be useful. The world needs to understand that there are exclusive benefits gathered from availability of extensive knowledge on the economic benefits of proper waste management. These must be people with adequate skills that would be relevant to the high number of industries in the globe. They would be responsible of making the world understand that there are massive benefits that result from wastes. The waste of one industry would be the raw materials for the other industry (Maczulak 98). The NGO must have employed professionals with adequate skills on how different industries may make use of the wastes.
Among the professionals hired by the organization, there must be one who acknowledges the significance of waste recycling and has proper skills that he or she can extend to the rest of the world. This may be achieved through extensive use of recycling coordinator and existence of recycling information and resources. These should be a platform full of materials, as well as assistance useful in helping a country set up a successful waste management in a given country (Owens 97). This may be achieved by the NGO setting up offices globally that would be useful in extending information to the public from different countries.
The NGO may engage in different campaigns in China, as well as the rest of the world. This involves application of specific strategies that would cater for activities in different platforms. The first campaign would be business waste reduction. This would be an awesome business strategy aimed at preventing waste conserves resources. As an environmental strategy, business waste reduction was extremely vital in preventing pollution, which would save money for an organization, as well as the republic. If the strategy would work accordingly for China, it would be equally fundamental and influential to the globally needed solution (Mehlman 91). This is a technique to sensitize the globe on the economic merits or business sense of managing wastes.
The next campaign would be waste reduction at venues and events. It is advisable for the globe to understand that activities at different events and venues would significant in generating massive amount of waste within a short period. Countries all over the globe have to emulate China in development of state-owned facilities that have waste reduction mandates that must be fulfilled, as well as maintained in different venues and events. The NGO should propose to the rest of the world on the increasing ways induced to reduce the waste at the events and venues held in different countries. The boundaries for different countries must define the venues and events that need to be controlled on how wastes are managed. Venues and events should be managed accordingly to ensure at no point will massive waste get access to the environment (Mehlman 57). If it happens that there are wastes in the environment, exclusive management for the waste is needed to counter the negative effects that people may be exposed to during their livelihood.
The next campaign would be paper waste prevention. It is agreeable that the world is facing extensive challenge in dealing with waste papers. Different countries are in the same category with China in dealing with the alarming levels of papers released into the environment. Specific measures need to be undertaken by the NGO as proposal to manufacturers of papers, as well as users of the papers. The NGO may propose to different governments to set up organizations that help in dealing with the management of waste. This is meant to ensure that most of the global countries are not struggling with the problem of waste management (Mehlman 76). Recycling techniques may still be proposed to these manufacturers to ensure that they take advantage of this economically viable technique.
Also, the NGO may decide to move out of the norms and introduce a strategy that would help in waste prevention at home. This is a strategy meant to make individuals responsible of keeping their environment clean. Homes also expose the environment to excessive dangers through improper release of waste to the environment. The NGO may partner with individuals around the globe to monitor activities for different homes. People must be sensitized on the need for excellent management of resources available to them (Mehlman 87). This is to prevent the public from excessive exposure to wastes.
This means that the global problem of poor waste disposal would be eliminated through use of China as the reference. This country has been in different headlines as one of the mainly affected countries by poor waste management. The NGO that may be brought up is meant to secure China, as well as the entire globe. There is exclusive need for professionalism as it would assist in identifying the most significant strategies to deal with specific problems. Also, professionalism would define the economic benefits of managing wastes in china, and the rest of the world. All parties must operate as they are required to ensure that the strategies set by the NGO are extremely meaningful.
