Family is considered to be one of the most important aspects for any person in his life. It is the family that determines the crucial factors and parameters regarding the development of their children and his turning of as an adult. Families help in defining the identities in a given society. It helps in realizing the feeling of belongingness and the importance of each and every individual in a given family.
They are the ones who will support each one of us during the happy and sad moments in our lives. They provide the necessary comfort and warmth so that we can stand still in our lives. We receive the required warmth, protection and security that are important to us from any of the aspects in our lives (Adams et al., 2010). There are different aspirations and roles of each and every member within our family. Each member feels unique and is encouraged to achieve his or her desired goals in their respective lives.
Families are the ones that will teach and guide us the important lessons and principles in our lives. It helps us in teaching the different values such as religious values, social values, moral values and cultural values that are very much important from a socio-economic perspective in our society. For any given child, it is important to have the support of his family so that he can get the necessary and required ingredients of development.
Building families and committing the engagement is a long process. We need to provide several inputs, need to participate in several processes so as to overcome all the difficulties in our lives. We face several challenges in our lives. It thereby becomes difficult to manage all of them single-handedly. But, if we have the support of our family and our relationships are strong, we can easily overcome such issues in our lives.
Under these circumstances, it has been found that, NAEYC standards help a lot for the development of the children. The parents of a given child provide their best efforts and knowledge while imparting education. In order to achieve the objective of providing proper education, NAEYC has been working on several areas of development relevant to education. They have been working on providing knowledge to the children on physical development. They have even been working for providing knowledge and education on socio-emotional development and language development.
However, without family engagement and without the support from NAEYC it becomes difficult to train the given child in the field of education. NAEYC standards help in developing better community relationships that will prosper our lives from the social as well as from an economic perspective. We need to stay in the community so as to build new relations, prosper the engagement and develop new ways of meeting and helping each other (Houston, Blankstein, & Cole, 2010).
NAEYC is meant for developing community relationships and imparting the necessary education to the children from several perspectives. They have designed the curriculum so as to meet the criteria for early literacy and imparting knowledge on Health and Safety. We have observed that family relationships can play a vital role in various ways in our lives. We do not know how we are going to face the challenges of the future. We even do not know about how we are going to celebrate the happy moments in our lives. Hence, it is important to build the family relationships by installing the feelings of trust and commitment. On a similar note, we need to build the community relationships with the help of NAEYC standards and try to help our children get the necessary education and knowledge about various fields.
Family is the founding stone of our lives. We need to nurture the relationships for the entire lifetime. We need to support all the family members and try to coordinate with each other so as to maintain a healthy environment at our home. All the children need to realize the fact that, families are an important element in all of our lives and we need to take utmost care of it. At the same time they also need to follow the curriculum devised by NAEYC so as to achieve the desired education in their lives. NAEYC standards have turned out to be of great importance for not only the children, but also for the parents as it helps them in guiding and mentoring their children.
