Love is one of the most powerful feeling in the world and there are different types of it. However, civilization is based on this feeling and it is shared among all of the people in the world. This emotion can have numerous connotations, but it always brings good because of its essential purpose. This innate feeling is what people have for their close ones as well as for themselves. Love is a universal feeling that is intercultural and it crosses all the boundaries.
Love and faith are interconnected and that is something that can be felt in one particular moment in time. It is an emotion which is related to comfort, trust and loyalty and it can change during the course of time. People can love their parents, family and friends, emotional partners, children but they can also love animals, inanimate objects and ideas about different things. There is much prejudice involved in the feeling of love and it has to be surpassed because love has to be unconditional in order for it to be true love. Each person loves in their own unique way and it depends on other factors in life as well. Not everybody is gifted with the ability to love profoundly and that is why people have their soul mates who can love them as much as they deserve. It is all about balance because people get back the feeling they send to the universe. This is an unwritten rule and it is applied to all of the people in the world.
Love keeps people together and makes the growth of civilization possible because people feel that they whole humanity has mutual interests. Existence of mankind is related to love and it connects everything by providing a meaning. It is pure positive energy in its essence and it can never disappear although it could change the form of existence. True love is rare to find and even rarer when people have no interests apart from being loved. This emotion is related to biology as well and people who are close relatives are not supposed to be romantically involved which is also regulated by nature.
People feel attraction towards other people that are similar to them and this relationship develops if the feeling is mutual. However, if love is real, there are many compromises to be made in order for it to survive and people need to be tolerant towards one another in order to be just and fair. People are usually attracted to people who have similar characteristics as they do, while opposites rarely attract in a way that creates a strong bond. Romantic love is often related to people who share similar perspectives on life and who are ready to be there for each other.
People feel mostly alive when they feel that they are loved which is why the pursuit of happiness involves finding a person that gives one’s life a meaning and fulfills it. “We tend to feel that thinking about people we love is the next best thing to being with them” (Pinch 379). It can also be painful for the people who love each other deeply to be apart. Therefore, thinking about them alleviates the situation, although it does not offer the best possible solution. This feeling is human and it involves the fact that people care for one another in spite of the fact that there is not perfect love. Real love means that a person considers the needs of another person as more relevant than their own because love in selfless.
Every person has a different idea of what love is, but the feeling is always strong and identifiable. People accept other people’s faults and they become at peace with themselves once they feel love. Love is not rational and it cannot be analyzed which is why people tend to oversee the flaws in their loved ones because loving means accepting the person as a whole. “To say “I love you” is to lose control over the judgments and reflections of the I” (Ware 492). Love is a shared feeling and a person is not the same individual once they form a strong relationship with another human being. Also, “love speech brings us in touch with our inherent weakness to language, to its prior power, and thereby closer to the other to whom we expose and express ourselves in love” (Ware 492). People become vulnerable once they express their love for other people and they can easily get hurt. Moreover, this is the reason for which some people stop believing in love and begin to hide from it. Running away is never a good solution and it means that people are hiding from their true nature.
People reproduce and that is why love is important which leads them to forming families of their own. This concept is familiar to almost anybody who grew up in some sort of a home. People express different feelings in many ways, but it is always easy to express love. “Love speech, on the other hand, is remarkably uninventive”. People usually think that it is enough to tell somebody that they love them, but it is even better to show them by making the actual effort.
Time is the most precious thing that can be given as a present to another human being and it is a great sign of love and affection. True dedication always involves time investment which is the best way of showing appreciations. People tend to love those people who are similar to them, but they also love those who love them back because this feeling has to be mutual.
