One of the qualities of a total winner is developing a high self-esteem that goes on to influences the employees of the company. In order to motivate employees of an organisation, a manager needs to cultivate within himself confidence. A self-respecting image helps in shaping the direction of the company. Employees are able to view the manager as capable if they can depend on the decisions he makes. Precise decisions from a manager need not to be questioned by the employees. However, in order for this to work, employees need to be confident that the manager is not second-guessing himself. All this boils down to self-confidence. If a manager does not have a high self-esteem about himself, then he looks weak and incapable in the eyes of the workers. Incapability leads to the workers not respecting his decisions since they view him as weak and self-incapacitated.
Luck of self-confidence might also affect the organisation's output since the employees might not be properly motivated to carry on with their duties. On the long run, employees might discount anything that the manager says, hence, leading to a disaster within the work environs. High self-esteem is interconnected to both the managers and employees outlook on the work. A manager with low self-esteem might not be able to make safe judgments that help the organisation or employees. In order to develop a winning mentality within the organisation, managers need to make sure that their decisions and image are based on solid ground. However, this might not be the case if a manager does not consider himself able to deliver, which is brought by the lack of self-assurance. To generate and develop a winning attitude within the work environs, managers should yield a high sense of worth in order to make sure that the workers also respect them and their decisions or rules.
