Learning new things is very good and knowing that you have achieved the intended goal is even better. Before I began this course, I had mixed feelings because I did not know what to expect and how to go about it. English is not my first language, and so this course was all about studying it. I have studied grammar in English school and by the fact that I am not a native speaker I learned a lot and do it better.
My friends have been of great help because they always helped in my studies, and whenever I called on them, they could show me the right way of doing things for instance spelling words and pronouncing them correctly. Whenever I sounded unconvincing in my spoken word, they could go to my work and read it in order to get a better understand of what I say.
I took the initiative of always looking up the dictionary to get a better understanding and meaning of the words I use. The dictionary has been a personal companion that guides my writing because when I do not understand a word I always find its meaning from the dictionary. I have been visiting the writing center too, and it has also helped me identify mistakes I make in my writing and whenever I rectify the mistakes I always feel good because it helps me become better every time.
I worked hard to be where I am today and apart from a few stressful moments I encountered throughout the course, I feel good and appreciate the experience. Through this course I have learned to work hard at everything I do despite the challenges I come across. At first it seemed too hard for me but I kept myself busy because I was also studying math at the same time. The busy semester resulted to a lot of tests and homework. I also moved to a new place and because I did not have an internet connection and so I had to utilize my time well in school. I believe am now ready to do the next course because this course has helped me a lot.
