We will be examining the instructions and steps to set up a festival booth. The steps will be easily followed from start to finish. If the instructions are followed then the booth will be set up and ready to sue. When taking the booth down you can follow the directions in reverse order. One step at a time will help ensure accuracy, and will decrease missed steps. It is best to be prepared with the appropriate supplies before setting up your booth.
Supplies Needed to Set Up a Festival Booth
A canopy tent that is big enough for the area your booth will be located.
Take tables to display your items for the festival, and include table cloths, tape, clothes pin, paper, and rope.
Take signs made for advertising and prices. Try to make your signs stand out and attract people.
Steps to Set Up a Festival Booth
Unfold your canopy or tent cover and stretch it out on the ground to cover the area you are allowed to use for your festival booth.
Once the canopy is spread out; then take the poles and insert them into the canopy holes and make sure all the canopy holes has piping in them for accurate stability. Take your time to ensure the pipes are secure to prevent the canopy from collapsing or falling causing injury or damage.
With assistance pick up one side of the canopy and tap the pipes into the ground to keep the canopy sturdy and spread out. Do this for each pipe until all pipes are stuck into the ground at the right level and height desired. Once the canopy is up and pipes are secured in the ground take a look at it outside. This will allow you to see what other people will see when they approach your booth. If it looks fine and is suitable enough for you, then we can continue to the next step.
Set your tables up and put them in areas that are accessible to customers, and are easy to see. “This will help catch people’s attention, and can draw customers to your booth” . Try not to clutter your tables. You will want your items displayed in a neat manner, and that will be more comfortable for consumers.
Once you have set your tables in the proper areas, then you can cover the tops with table cloths. This will give your tables a more appealing look, and will visually be more professional. When the tablecloths are on; put tape on the ends of the tablecloth and tape the ends to the table itself. This will help hold the tablecloth on the table if the wind picks up during the festival. This will also help keep everything in place on the table without the tablecloth from moving and bunching up.
Put your signs up and around your booth for advertisement. The more advertising you have the better chance more people will come to your booth. If you can make your signs and poster board stand out with bold colors, or business colors then this will make a difference. People will be attracted to bright colors and professional booths.
Position your chair in the back of your booth. This will ensure your out of the way and do not intimidate any shy customers. Make your sitting area close enough that you can see what is going on, and are available for information and assistance from customers.
Put your items and merchandise out on your tables and get ready to run your festive booth. Take one last look at the booth from outside to makes sure it looks good and festive. You are not set up and the instructions are finished. Enjoy your booth and good luck to your success in the festival.
