Capstone turbine has been largely favored by the environmental policies that have been passed not only in the United States but also in other parts of the world. Specifically, renewable energy has been a global focus in the fight against climatic change (Morata 13). Capstone has products that have received a major boost from these policies due to their ability to contribute in environmental conservation process.
Asia, Africa and Latin America have experienced increased demand in energy due to rapid industrialization. As a result, governments have placed in place measures in which they can harness the most economical sources of energy. Most government advocates for the use of affordable energy sources such as renewable energy (Korte 44). This has expanded Capstone market to these regions since they have the ability to develop power generators that are driven by renewable energy.
The world ignoring environmental concerns can affect Capstone negatively. However, this is very unlikely since the world is experiencing adverse effects that are as a result of environmental degradation. Also, in relation to industrialization, economic and financial crises may negatively affect the company. However, this can only be in relation to quantity supplied to these areas but not change in government policy.
The company should continuously invest in product research and development. This is because this facilitates its ability to match the market requirement and adherence to government policy. Therefore, if the company is negatively affected by any factor, product research and development is a suitable way to counter that effect.
