What I am working on
This project will seek to establish the relationship between Twitter and Business. It will also clarify the ways by which businesses can leverage on Twitter to grow their businesses. Twitter has been transformed from being a cult personality to a juggernaut. It has transformed ways by which individuals and business entities interface in the world around them. It has been established that twitter has become a vital tool for business to interact directly with customers. This project will therefore seek to prove this assertion. The project will also find out the various ways by which businesses use twitter to grow and further their business interests. The project will also use various methodologies to find out the above objectives of the study.
Why the project proposal matters
The world has witnessed advancements in technology; Twitter is one of this technologies. Twitter is a social media that has taken the world by storm; it has revolutionized how business and individuals interact with each other. This project will be very critical because it will clarify various misperceptions about Twitter. Because Twitter is a new phenomenon, there is limited research that has been carried out about it. This project will therefore seek to clarify and shed more light on the relationship between Twitter and business and how Twitter can be effectively used by businesses to advance their interests. This project will therefore be very important in providing literature on the topic of Twitter and businesses. This research will therefore help businesses to comprehensively understand how they can employ Twitter in their business operations. Twitter helps businesses to connect with their customers hence, helping grow their businesses. The research will, therefore expound on this function of Twitter.
The extent of the research now
The research on Twitter and business is at its inception; there is limited research on this subject. This is because Twitter is still a new subject and hence, with limited literature. There is limited materials and literature that has been written on this subject. This makes this subject a fertile area for research. The role of Twitter on business operations has not been dwelt on a lot. This is because people have continuously ignored the power of Twitter in growing businesses. The power of Twitter as a broadcasting and conversational tool has gone unnoticed. Furthermore, the power of Twitter as strong marketing tool has not been subjected to research and more often ignored. There is, therefore, the need for more research on this field to shed more light on this research area.
What I am going to do
Because there is limited research on this subject, I will be embarking on a project to establish several underlying issues about the subject. In the project that I will undertake the subject of Twitter and Business, I will consult the available literature on Twitter and business and to use it in building and strengthening the scope of the research. Several businesses have limited idea on how they can use Twitter to grow their business, in the course of this research; therefore, I will comprehensively dwell on the various ways on how businesses use Twitter in growing their investments. I will also provide examples and case studies on the business that have successfully leveraged on Twitter to further their business interests.
