In addition, Christianity also offers violent extremist through misinterpretations. There are parts in the world whereby Christians murdered doctors and burned their clinics. This is based on the violent extremism on issues of abortion. Critical analysis shows ho Christians through misinterpretation lead to violent extremist. In the world, there are various religious riots and protests, which is a clear indication of religions on violent extremist. On the same note, the Westboro Baptist Church is one of the Christianity that focuses on hate and violence. Nevertheless, every religion in the world belief that they are peaceful, yet in the real sense the practices done demonstrate violent extremism that is associated with misinterpretation.
After the September 11 terrorist attack, I developed a different view of Islam. This is based on the fact that the attack was associated with Islam extremists. My perception before the attack was that Islam is a peaceful religion in the world. But after 9/11 I view Islam has a religion that could in one way or another advocate violence.
