Ladies and gentlemen,
I am in a very happy mood to express my sincere concern on children’s health care status. Children are gift from God and such grants us the opportunity to show compassion to them as a way of thanking Almighty. Moreover, every child is entitled to receive quality medical attention with or without money. It is the right of every child to receive the best and advanced healthcare services across the world. This reason led to the foundation and establishment of the Lebonheur Children’s Hospital a non-profit organization interested in offering healthcare to children. However, since the hospital is a non-profit organization, it needs your support as an individual. Through donating to the hospital, many children receive excellent medical attention.
First, to donate means to give out and thus donating is referred to as the act of giving out as well as reaching out to the needy through charity organization or institutions (Thomas 92). One can donate to children homes, hospitals, orphanages, schools and other charitable organization. Through donating, one is able to help the needy such as the poor and disadvantaged. There are numerous forms or types of donations. Therefore, one can simply donate according to his or her capabilities and ability. This implies that a person can make a donation to the hospital according his or her capabilities. Some of the things that one can donate may include grants, funds, gifts and presents which may be in the form of beddings, cash, blood, medical facilities, clothing, foodstuffs, electronics and even recreation facilities. Through offering such items as donations, people are able to facilitate the hospital’s operations in terms of offering tangible services.
There are many reasons as to why people should offer their support to Lebonheur Children’s Hospital through donations. One of the reasons is the fact that through donations, one is able to show or portray his or her love, compassion and even care to the sick children (Bremner 800). When one donates to help a sick or injured child, it show concern as well as love to the child as well as the child’s family. Another reason is that donation enables the hospital to improve and even enhance the way it delivers health services to the children. Donations enable the hospital acquire new medical facilities such as electronics, medical machines and even drugs.
Additionally, such donations enable the hospital to generate enough cash which in return enables it to accommodate a lot of children in the future. If the hospital is a position to accommodate more children who need urgent medical or healthcare attention, then it implies that more lives are saved. When a child receives medical attention, the family and society where the child comes from is happy and thus one is blessed. Many children who come from poor background have the right to receive excellent, advanced and even quality medical attention with or without money. Saving a life enables the person assume the role of a hero in the society and thus it’s a good feeling to be a life saver (Mitchell, R S, and Michael 212).
If one wants to make donations, there various channels in which he or she can follow. These various channels include online donation procedure (Lebonheur Children's Hospital 20). The hospital has provided a link on their website which makes the process easier. In addition, one can print the forms in their website and send it back with his or her donations. One can also drop the donations into the hospitals offices as well as making direct deposits into the hospital’s banks account.
In a nutshell, when one assists poor and disadvantaged children in the society, he is considered a hero. Moreover, he is able to save a life and it’s a blessing to the nation and world in general.
