Working in this new environment was a good experience because it helped me greatly. It was important that I could use what I had learned to make better progress as well as change my environment. I was supposed to collect the financial deposits, record them then put them in the bank. It was an aspect that required discipline, patience, and care because I was taking care of other people’s time and money in this place. I needed to have the trust of everyone in the company because it was a chance to experience something new while working there I wanted to ensure that I could learn much more so that I could make my work easier. I also hoped to introduce a system to make the place better than I found it. I wanted to make such contributions to my workplace as a way of giving back for the time spent there. Other than receiving deposits from the clients, I had to make orders. This meant that I needed to be accountable for anything I placed and justify the need for every item I ordered. I had to make sure that the right quantities were in and the products were in good condition. This meant making the evaluations after every delivery and making sure that the products presented were as requested.
Making such follow-ups provides a new form of discipline that you learn in class but only becomes evident when you apply it to a real-life scenario. It is important to make better choices to deliberate on the received accounts and analyze everything provided. An integral part of learning involves meeting the right conditions that present a new form of deliberations to grow the company. Any employee that is intrinsically motivated will make the right choices as a way of deliberating on the ventures that come with receiving what is ideal within the workplace so that the development of the company works for the intended notions. Ideally, an employee needs to create a culture that will mirror what is in the company so that the changes intended can be identified and experienced to deliver the right provisions for every employee. I learned that interactions with different employees could rub in some of the required features that make one successful. Knowledge passed on from one individual to the next, as I found out, could be very crucial in making one grow in his or her career path (Barnlund 50).
I have learned to manage time and make better evaluations of the stock present because I need to multitask and be a team player at work. I cannot leave my colleagues without ensuring that I have factored in everything that needs to come from my department. I have to follow the directives and interact with my leaders in a manner to examine the changes needed within the workplace. It is vital to follow the channel of authority in place and learn the mode of communication (Barnlund 52). I learned from my colleagues that it is crucial to communicate well with my supervisor. This will prevent any future problems because the supervisors know what is expected of them and will relay instructions from the top and take back feedback when necessary.
The only way an individual can benefit from being within an organization like this one is by making the right choices regarding their interactions. As a part of learning, any communication made must be based on what one considers as the basis of future growth and development. I will use this as part of delivering my skills and work for the employers to gauge my impact at the workplace. I understand that certain changes are needed to make the right demands within the workplace. Managing such subtle skills becomes a norm, and that provides a new way of working on issues.
