RE: LEVEE CONSTRUCTION FOR FLOODED MISSISSIPPI
Note that there has been flooding of the Mississippi in the Midwest. This challenge offers an opportunity for the construction of a levee for the river. The wall acts as a long-term solution to protect city residents from future events. I intend to form a team that will help in studying and developing this solution. There are various kinds of services needed from the dream team. Some of them include the assessment of project needs and alternatives, design, drawing and specifications, and construction and construction associated services.
The first batch of professionals is civil, design, and structural engineers. They are the most highly skilled members of the team. We will draw them from bachelor to Ph.D. degree holders. The reason behind this reasoning is that they have a responsibility of drawing structural plans, examining, analyzing, and planning the structure and construction of the levee.
We also need excavation managers. These hands men have adequate training in heavy equipment operations. Their role includes the ability to operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, draglines, bulldozers, cranes, and forklifts.
Third, the project will need cement and construction related laborers. We will draw these individuals from various professions. They are the least important as they assist skilled employees in undertaking various stages of the project. They have a responsibility of adding and mixing concrete. They will also build, move, and maintain building materials to keep the project on the move.
Lastly, the construction manager should have adequate training in team management. This manager is the second best famous professional who oversees and supervises the team throughout the process. They are also responsible for delegating, prioritizing, and keeping schedules.
As the project manager, I understand that there could be an Interprofessional conflict of interests between members of this team. I will support a rather collaborative conflict resolution style. This management style is both civil thus would play a vital role in the wake of conflict. I will encourage the team to listen to each other and reach an agreement where possible.

RE: R&D TEAM FOR MEDICAL DEVICE
The company wants to develop a device that will help in the repair and of brain damage and related illness. There is a need to constitute a research and development team in charge of investigating, developing and testing this possible solution. The R&D seeks service from relevant scientists and technical analysis to help with related operatives. They will undertake various kinds of roles related to other involved in the manufacture of other bioelectronics and mechanical devices.
Their qualifications expand from primary to Ph.D. level degrees. The team will include medical device engineers, biomedical engineers, health economists, equipment repairers. Medical device engineers develop and advance a range of devices in this line of business. They are bachelors, masters, and Ph.D. prepared in device engineering. They should also have adequate experience in similar positions. Their role in this team will be to improve chances that the device is efficient in performing its intended function.
Biomedical engineers aim at solving medical and biological issues. Most biomedical engineers have first and second degrees in Biomedical Engineering. This project requires that members must have adequate experience from working for hospitals, supply companies, and medical technology firms. Their duties for this task include the design and evaluation of the treatment efficacy of the device.
Medical equipment repairers have associate degrees in engineering and biomedical technologies. They mold their careers in testing, repairing, and troubleshooting the devices for sound functionality. The team requires repairers with adequate knowledge in new technologies, repair and maintenance.
Lastly, health economists are second and third-degree holders in Health Economics. They have a vital role in evaluating the qualitative and quantitative benefits of this device to stakeholders. They will also study its efficacy to providers, insurers, patients, and the government.
I understand that all these professionals value their work in ways that they can work with others in the development of an efficient device. However, conflict may still occur in the event of operation. Therefore, I will choose candidates with adequate skills in communication as well as availability throughout the process. These characteristics will result in the development of a successful team.
