Canadian youth is among the first to grow up and live in a digital in today’s world. The specific questioned posed is to what extent has the digitalization affected the growth of an online community in Canada? Canada is among the few nations in the world, which can boast of a technological and advanced society. It is the perfect example of a population that has excelled in many technological aspects and it may be categorized as an internet generation. The internet has had an effect the recent history of the country and the manner in which the Canadian society approaches its daily businesses and activities(Farell and Ntake 23). Digital media has played an important role of empowering the Canadian youth to communicate better, learn, work, and shop in the same manner as the youth in the other developed nations. In this light, the issue, in this case, is the manner in which the digital world makes life different in Canada.
One of the major observations in technology is the fact that it provides important analytical tools. These tools can be used to assess events and predict occurrences in the future. technology has created a fast-paced society in Canada such that life and work can be performed at the comfort of people’s homes (Chilton 12). For instance, Canada has many online companies that allow a majority of people to work from private offices and homes.
In conclusion, the nature and attributes of the current society being witnessed in Canada is a result of a digital world. People are comfortable because they can use the available technology for their convenience. In spite of the cost implications that result from the use of digital technologies, it has benefitted the people in this country by creating a community that can be emulated in a technological context and assisted in socio-economic development (Canada 13).
