Problems
This proposal to have switch covers was necessitated by the predisposed problems associated with switch buttons. Presence of the cold winter froze the switch buttons making them hard to operate, and such the need to have switch covers that would be easily thawed without having to undergo extensive maintenance by the technicians. In addition, the presence of these covers allowed easier operation and maintenance of the switch buttons, thus making it a very economical predisposition than being a difficult indulgence. Thus, the consequence of suing these switch covers was to enhance accessibility of the building by its regular occupants. The wheelchair lift-switch covers would thus be used to operate special lifts to the building and sometimes navigate such individuals within the buildings.
Purpose
The purpose of this proposal was to come up with a proper design of the wheelchair-lift covers that would function at optimal level, with greater efficiency, but with such reduced costs. The cost and effectiveness of the wheel-hair were standard measures that the design took into place. In this context, the project’s purpose was entrenched in providing the best design that will meet the user’s specification, while depending on the locally assembled materials for its design and construction. In addition, this project was purposely entrenched in finding solutions to the problems that existed with the economy and effectiveness of the lift throughout the seasons, a lift that could operate in all seasons.
Solutions
The solutions were articulate for this course. In the first instance, the use of locally assembled materials solved the mystery of high costs associated with the design of the wheelchair lift-switch covers. Besides, the design of the wheel chair is economical as it depends on readily available material like aluminium rivets, premier for the sheet metal, and then coordinating these parts with the electrical circuitry systems. The availability of these materials enhances the design of this system to meet the required quality standards. These solutions are critical to the design and electrical operations of the wheelchair switch covers.
