I am a 26 years old, energetic, adventurous, and strong-minded male. Being a Saudi Arabian national, I practice and follow distinct principles in life that reflect my love for my homeland, community, and religion. However, my passion to earn a higher contemporary degree made me move to Canada in 2009. Due to my interest in Information Technology, I pursued Networking as my major. As far as my hobbies are concerned, I have intense interest in playing and watching soccer. In addition, I also like to spend my leisure time at gym. Furthermore, drawing is also one of the activities I really enjoy. As a food-lover, I believe in eating healthy foods. For the same reason, I am not a fast-food lover like other people of my age. Due to my friendly and helpful nature, I have managed to make many friends in Canada and at home.
As a Saudi Arabian, I take great pride in the distinctiveness and uniqueness of many aspects of my country’s culture. The Saudi Arabian customs and traditions are majorly inspired by Islam. I absolutely admire the generous nature and helping attitude of the Saudi Arabians. In addition, the culture also calls the people to protect women and give them their deserved rights. Also, the attachment of people with Islamic traditions is also helpful in making them realize their responsibilities as human beings towards other human beings. It also needs to be mentioned that the architectural style in Saudi Arabia is extremely unique as it reflects conventional designs, patterns, and construction methods inspired by Islamic architecture (Walker, 2010). As I have seen and observed both Arabian (eastern) and Western cultures, I can easily conclude that there is a vast difference between the two.
