My name is Irma Tinucci and I like to submit my application to your Master's Degree program. I truly believe that I am a good addition to your program. I will give you a few reasons:
I have been a nurse for 7 years and each day I enjoy more my decision to be part of this health field. I do feel that I have so much to offer to my profession, but I do have a lot to learn. After I got my Bachelor's I feel that a new world was open to me. It is good not only how to perform skills, but really master them. Before my Bachelor’s I can say that I could manage my owns skills, but know I can not only manage them, but I am able to manager others and help them to master their skills.
During my Bachelor’s program I read so many books, but one particular got a lot my attention because the contents were so clear and self explanatory. In one of the chapters I read : “” The advanced practice registered nurse, contributes to nursing knowledge by conducting or synthetizing research that discovers , examines , and evaluates knowledge , theories , criteria, and creative approaches to improve health care” .
During these 7 years I have worked in many nursing fields such as: Long term care, Emergency care, Intensive care, Pediatrics, dialysis care and family care. However there is one field that I would love to work in it: “Nursing teaching field”. I would love to teach other RNs. I know when of the main requirements for teaching in Universities and college is to have a master Degree in Nursing.
During my Bachelor's program when I was completing my class in Nursing Management I had an opportunity to teach a class of LPNs as assignments. I have to say that I love it! I know that a Master's program requires a lot of dedication, time management and self-discipline, but I am ready for it!
Enclosed with this letter you will find my application for the Master's program and tree recommendations letter from my previous Nursing Instructors.
I will be waiting to hear from you soon!
Sincerely,
