I am confident that I will be able to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of Senior Class Treasurer for school year 2013-2014 since I exhibit the qualities required by such position. I believe that I possess the qualities of a good leader since I have the ability to encourage people to work for a common goal. I practice the values honesty, integrity, hard work and team work in my daily activities to serve an inspiration to others. As an aspiring Senior Class Treasurer, I promise to ensure that class finances are sound and wisely used for legitimate class activities. My excellent mathematic skills make me highly qualified for the position. I am willing to take on the challenge of creating fundraising projects for the purpose of improving the quality of the academic life of the students. At the same time, I am willing to work hand in hand with the school administration to help achieve the objectives of our institution.
I have experienced being a responsible leader since I am presently a cadet for three and a half years of the Navy Junior Reserve Training Officers Corps (NJROTC). As a cadet for three and half years, I learned the values of self-reliance, discipline, communication, respect and responsiveness to authority. If given the chance to serve as the Senior Class Treasurer, I will be able to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of handling money and planning events and fundraisers for a cause. My principle in life is to become of service to others by being an honest and disciplined individual. Becoming a youth leader does not only mean being present in school activities or being on time, but it also requires hard work, dedication and a passion to serve for a purpose. If I will be given the chance to become the Senior Class Treasurer, I will be able to fit in easily in the position since my credentials makes highly qualified to perform the duties. As a good leader, I respect the opinion of every student as part of my organization skills. I am ready to carry the difficult task of raising class funds effectively with my ideas to make the upcoming school events more exciting and for a good cause. If I’m elected as the Senior Class Treasurer, I assure you that I will be able to carefully budget funds and make sure that the money is put into good use. I am more than willing to take note of all your issues and concerns by discussing them during meetings. I am a very straightforward person and I take my responsibilities very seriously. Modesty aside, I am very approachable, creative, possess good time-keeping skills, dedicated and I never run out of ideas. I assure you that my capability and commitment to this position will never waver even in hard times and I shall continue to become a devoted class treasurer. It will be a great honor to be able to serve my fellow students during my last year in high school and I look forward to your support. You have my word that if I am elected, your experience in this school will only get better and more than you have expected. Thank you.
