This is a reminder on the part of the management to all our employees that they should abide by and respect the company policy on the acceptable use of email and text messaging. The violation of any regulatory directive would mean disciplinary action against the perpetrator. The emails and messages should be strictly used for professional conversations and promotions.
Any defiance in the content of the conversational modes is not acceptable as per the company policy. Also, such a directive has been issued keeping in mind the security issues. The company needs to ascertain a paramount security of its database and procedures and hence any unprofessional emails and messages are seen as impediments in the functionality of the company. Privacy issues are also kept in mind while informing our employees of the strict rule of the management. We want all our data to be private and any violation would be unwelcome. Hence, we have taken the unanimous decision of regulating the outbound emails and messages. The company would regularly monitor the outbound messages and emails of every employee.
Thus, it is needless to reiterate that the company equipments should not be utilized to send and harassing messages or mails. Same goes for personal conversations. It needs to be clear to every person that any incongruence with the above-mentioned directive would mean suspension from work or termination, depending on the nature of violation. There will be no compromise on the part of the administration under any such circumstance of finding:
- Harassing messages
- Personal messages
Any questions or clarifications regarding this matter should be forwarded to the Administration Department of the company on the official email. Employees may also ask the Administration representatives in person about their queries.
We expect that every employee would understand the reasons behind such a decision on the part of the company. The management expects everyone to show solidarity to the regulation and abide it.
