Biography
Sergeant Maurice Churchill Rice was born Michigan in the United States of America in the year 1940. He was the third born in the family of Mr. Calpa Rice and Mrs. Reecho Rice. The two got married and had four children and lived in America .His other siblings include Mr. Kennedy, Mr.Samwel and Miss Brenda the last born in their family. The father worked as a doctor in the Michigan, while the mother served as a nurse in the same town. The parents were black Americans who lived in the early time of their in the states before moving to Canada. Being the third born he participated in various activities s in the family and subscribed to the family faith of Christianity. He could was utensils and do other daily chaos. Upon attaining school going age, he joined primary school at Sambwe at 6 years in 1946. He began to show great interest as a soldier in his early life by participating actively in scouting activities right from childhood. He would command the parade and March during flag raising ceremony in their school. During this time he developed strong interest in his future career as a soldier. He joined secondary school after completing the primary and continued to farther his studies. In the secondary school he continued with his profession where he met with other peer whom had the same interest in his line of profession. With the strong influence of the peers coupled with the teacher’s effort Churchill advanced his skills and began to specialize in military training at this level. During this time he would visit army barrack in accompany of his friends and teachers who would expose them the practical experiences of the soldiers in the war arena.
Churchill joined paramilitary college in Michigan in 1958 and pursue advanced course in military and armory. He trained as a full soldier and specialized in weaponry and armory this gave him the opportunity to join the United States State army after completion in 1960. It was at this point that Churchill engaged Clara, a fellow soldier and got married in 1962. The wife as a soldier continued but resigned due to health complexion in 1970. They got two children: Nicole Beldin who is a senior accountant in Coca Cola companies in Brazil. The other one is a lawyer in Canada and continue to practice his profession. In his career as a soldier he began with the lowest rank as Corporal where he served for five years in the States .He was promoted to be senior sergeant in which he worked within the states and commanded the army to other parts of the world. Gaining experience in different activities as a soldier and survival skills in the war gave the opportunity to be promoted to a higher positions of army commander. He participated in the Vietnam War in 1968 to 1975 as the senior commander, giving direction the troops to fight their opponents. He fought jointly with others in United Arabs Emirates and Australia. He observed how people were killed in masses during the occasion and would sometimes escape narrowly when nearly all of his colleagues have been killed. He had the experience of how to fly in jet and throw the bombs in United Arabs Emirates and Afghanistan. At the end of the war in 1975 he returned to America and continued as a soldier till he retired in the year 2000. In his lifespan as a soldier he learnt to fight the opponents by all means and how to escape and survive and this is what has contributed to his long service in the position for along period of time. He could fire and escape both experiences in the air, land and in the water. Sergeant Churchill contact liver cirrhosis in 2008 when he was about 68 years he has sought medication and at the time of interview he was well. His experience as a soldier is recorded in the books he has authored and also the video tapes he recorded during the war period
The person who was interviewed was a retired soldier who is a Vietnam veteran. Mr. Churchill is currently writing books and articles of war. The books are used in the colleges and universities in America to train the new soldiers of the experience in the battle field. I spoke face to face with him the Vietnam veteran soldier, last week and record the information through tapes and note taking. The interview was focused and due attention was given to the information. The soldier produced the documents such as books and video as an evidence of his experience of the war between capitalism and socialism. The relevant information was recorded and video taped. Am very glad that I spoke face to face to him and spent most of the time recording the information that can be used for future references. The interview went on successfully without any distractions and diversions. The required information were noted down and compiled in form of a biography.
