Before the introduction of shelters, mankind used to live in caves. The emergence of caves came as a result of need for more safety and comfort as man became more civilized. Engineers have introduced new techniques of construction such shelters that have created a big impact to the current society. The invention of caveman engineering was in response to many needs as described below. Firstly, man needed a safe place to lodge. The engineering of pre-historic houses has encouraged more tourists to travel in such areas and camp there. In addition, it acts as a reminder of how people lived during the ancient times. Secondly, the invention was responsible for travel and commerce. Introduction of caveman shelters acts as a source of income for engineers who have the skills and experience in constructing them. This has a great impact on the economy because people always visit such shelters all year round. Moreover, it promotes people’s talents because most of the caves used by man during a pre-historic period are full of drawings and writings (Brooks 55-61).
On the other hand, prehistoric housings had a lot of impact on population, growth, health and lifespan. The perfectly engineered caves give the dwellers a humble time to reproduce and take care of the young children. In addition, the caves encouraged socialization and interaction as people from all corners of the world come to view the prehistoric caves. In addition, people who used to live in these caves have become more civilized due to exposure to the technological world. The effect has promoted many economic and business systems since the caveman engineers are able to earn a living from their talents. In addition, the system has acted as a form of cultural maintenance since various groups construct caves according to their cultural designs.
The technical discovery also played a great role in the development of societal, political, and businesses. Caveman engineering created a significant impact on the above named sectors. To start with, the invention led to demolition of slavery among people. Most people discovered new methods of earning income and resisted colonialists from taking them as slaves. The following factor introduced the issue of social justice, human rights, and the role of women in the society. With the invention of the technology, man became more aware of his rights. People understood the need of becoming self reliance and fighting for democracy where justice was denied. In addition, the discovery led to a realization that women were a very important and respected person in the society. Traditionally, women were seen as beasts of burden and all household chores were given to them. The invention had a great impact on the role of women where some could take part in designs and construction of such shelters (Brooks 113-119).
Finally, the introduction of the caveman engineering technology came along with the development of money and banking systems. After the man understood the need for trade and commerce, it later downed to him that he could easily keep the earned money save and for long. The emergence of banking systems had the greatest impact to the society because more people started saving money and materials for future use. In addition, the engineering field faced a great effect. The engineering sector has gained a lot of fame due to the creativity and innovative nature of caveman engineers. The impacts are more felt in different sectors across the world especially social industries (Knight and Robert 112-120).
