Question 1
What are some of the ways of ensuring smooth operations of things in the lab-school?
For things to take place as planned, teachers must teach programs that have integrated practical and theoretical knowledge. Students should be given a chance to practice the theoretical issues they are taught such as taking risks, receiving and giving feedback and understanding the learning process. Lab-school is efficient in helping teachers make sense of theoretical concepts in physical education.
Lab-school helps teachers to deliver and plan collaboratively to deliver their physical education experiences. It helps young teachers reflect on various teaching strategies, learn from their colleagues through observation and gain knowledge on alternative ways of teaching.
Question 2
What are the general views of the media and the public on body image in ladies who appear on magazines?
The link and relationship between ladies’ healthy body image and mainstream commercial magazines has never been easy. Research shows that the media influences how women view body ideals. In most cases, the media contributes to body dissatisfaction in women and adolescents. Women magazines are notorious for creating sexist and false opinions on identity and body image. Women tend to believe what they read and sea in the media, which they relate to their own experiences and body condition. Most of those affected have insufficient social support and have high negative body image.
Several magazines such as Dolly, The Big Issue and cosmopolitan run continuous social and health well-being campaigns. This is aimed at helping women keep their bodies fit and leading healthy lives. Some of the solutions they offer include regular exercise, avoiding drugs and eating good diets. They also focus on, and campaign against emotional abuse to enhance personal health.
