Hamilton uses a logic of differentiation because of the land, sights, events, and impacts the geographical area has to offer to tourists. The landscape and beautiful scenery had been used in several well-known movies.
Hamilton’s socio-culture was European in the mid-1800’s and is presently Maori. The country had become tussock and forester after the Europeans had moved in and settled. The Maori had a hand in the construction and tourist destination that Hamilton is today.

It has opened a wide variety of jobs for people in the area and has taken the location from a once poverty environment. The tourism brings more money to Hamilton and extends the employment opportunities for the locals.
Hamilton had made a profit in tourism profit and foreign exchange earnings. They had also a profit of economic diversification with exporting. Employment has increased by almost 12% due to tourism. Entrepreneurial activity has taken place in Hamilton because of competitive events that are held each year.
Volatile demand can have a negative impact on Hamilton’s tourism. “This can occur when a demand is bigger than the supply” . Different times of the year can also have an impact on demand because of increase in tourism. Hamilton would suffer if events closed down. The people who live in the area would not have jobs and this would cause an impact on goods and services bought and sold locally by the businesses. This would impact many people who benefit because of the events that stay open.
