One day my friends and I travelled on an excursion to the capital, which had been arranged by my college. There was a small group of students and the attendant. We visited many establishments of entertainment as it was, according to the plan. Our excursion was dedicated to the topic “Modern Art”. We were in the cinema, theatre, in McDonalds, two museums, and the gallery. The day was really very interesting, informative and exciting. But when we had returned to the railway-station we found out that one of my friends lost his wallet. Of course, it was a huge problem as except the money, there were some documents and credit cards in the wallet. That is why we started thinking what to do and where to look for his wallet. Sure thing our good mood disappeared.
First of all we kept calm and did not panic. It would not do us any good. We said to our attendant that we had some troubles and we should solve them, so we would come back home without the rest of the group. At first she did not want to agree and let us walk the city alone, but when we described her everything properly and explained to her that we knew where to go, she understood the problem and allowed to stay. But the only condition was to call her when we solve everything and come back home. We agreed and continued thinking about the problem. Then I suggested to find the addresses of all the establishments where we had been on the Internet and look for their phone numbers. It was possible that some of the managers could find the wallet and just keep it till the owner comes. Then the other my friend suggested returning back to all these establishments in order to save the time as somebody could take the wallet. We all agreed and moved. We were searching the phone number of the establishments and calling them during the road. Some of them did not answer; some of them told us that there was not any wallet inside. But we did not leave the hope and visited all the places again. We were very attentive during the road and we were going back the same streets looking for the wallet. Of course, we did not remember completely what we had been doing, but we tried to reproduce. Besides, we went to the subway and went the same lines, and as far as we remembered the same coaches, searching for the wallet. But everything was unsuccessfully.
The last establishment was McDonalds, which we had visited the first. We called to it and the manager told us that he would see what he could do. Then after some minutes he recalled us and first asked about the details and description of the wallet. When we answered, he said that our wallet was picked up by their shop-assistant as soon as we had left the café. So we could calm down and come for the wallet. We really relaxed and thanked God that it was found as we really did a lot to find it. We spent almost three hours, but our searching was praised. When we came to the café we thanked the manager and took the wallet. At last we came back home double happier.
