Report to Executive Director
Dear Sir, please accept my apology in respect of the topical incident that damaged the reputation of our university. At the same time please give me a chance to elucidate my role on the issue.
I was dealing with Mr. Alex from The Economic Magazine on behalf of the university, as I was assigned to do. I provided him all relevant information and also informed him again and again that I am not the final authority and before the final printing, he is required to take approval from the Executive Director. Ideally he should have taken your approval on the final duplicate copy of the magazine before printing it but Alex did neither bother taking your approval nor did he inform me, and sent the same for the final printing.
On the top of cover page of magazine he mentioned Message from Executive Director-ABM.
I am very much aware with the courses and programs run by the university and it is impossible for me to allow appearing those mistakes in the magazine. For example on page number 9, Diploma in Business Leadership Development should not be in different paragraphs.
Another example is on page number 10 and 11, instead of UZ Council Mr. Alex mentioned UZ Board of Diector. He could have mentioned at least the spelling of Director rightly.
Other mistake appears on page numbers 14 and 15, like embolden unimportant Market Research course and not bolding the important Advance Diploma and Certificate courses. Advance Diploma courses were also clubbed with Certificate courses and mentioned Advance Diploma under Honors Degree.
Mr. Alex has worked in haste and failed in fulfilling his responsibility. He took the decision to print the magazine without final approval of our university which resulted as above mentioned mistakes in the magazine.
