Introduction
It is expected that as the number of older people get higher each year, the staff in health care organizations and their departments will not be able to keep up. Furthermore, this paper will focus on devising strategies on how to ensure that a specific health care organization has all the health care providers that are needed to function efficiently.
Body
People who come to hospitals for medical care and do not to stay for an extended period of time are generally taken care of by ambulatory health care organizations. Ambulatory health care organizations may also focus on managing diagnostic centers for outpatients which includes several laboratory tests, imaging tests, and other diagnostic procedures (Olden, 2011). Given the relevance of this particular health care organization, it is important ensure that this health care organization, particularly the department focusing on diagnosis, is well staffed by competent health care providers.
Among the staff that are to be expected are nurses that may assist in the diagnosis and lab professionals that will help analyze diagnosis results. Among the things that may be done to attract and retain the people who take part in this department are is the utilization of state-of-the-art equipment that will allow the department to deliver excellent work. This will make working in the department something to be proud of and may attract potential staff. Secondly, benefits should be provided to the staff, which takes into account their health, family, and psychological well-being. Lastly, there should be room for growth. The staff should be aided in aiming for higher education so that they may become better in the field and likewise stay. A department which traps a staff into staying in one rigid place, usually leads to a workplace with less dynamics and less potential.
Conclusion
The staff of any organization is important if one wants to make things work. Only if growth, dynamics, and sensible policies are placed will people be attracted to work for an organization. In addition to this, being able to deliver the said conditions will induce an environment that is directed towards the organization’s goals.
