Learners all around the globe aspire to pursue their higher studies being affiliated with such an organization that provides the best to a student and brings the best out of that student. I, an aspirant of becoming a global leader want to complete my PhD at such a university where I can optimize not only my learning but also the application of these learning into real life scenarios through practical applications. My decision to conclude my PhD with Chapman University is backed up by my aspirations of optimal success and contribution in the global management field.
I have completed my graduate studies from Saudi Arabia in 2011 and have been affiliated with Irvine College since the spring of 2013. During my graduate level studies, I realized a special interest in business sector as I got introduced to various new theories from all around the globe. Given that my father has his own business, I applied the skills learned in my business classes to our business and understood the practical implications of these theories. I have done successful projects covering a wide range of management theories and on different organizations. The projects and cases were covered in subjects like accounting, marketing, and finance and organization behavior. I was introduced to real life business scenario when I decided to join my father’s business, Aljammaz Company in Saudi. The Company specializes in a number of areas including travel, food, agriculture, logistics, and retail and information technology. My desire to study entrepreneurship grew even stronger as I started getting familiar with each section of our
business range. So, with an intention to further add value to our existing business, I got enrolled to Irvine Valley College. Here, I learnt a lot more about business management and improvement but I still feel that I need to explore this subject at a global level, as I aspire to take our business to new heights at national and international levels. That is why I want to pursue my remaining PhD course at the prestigious Chapman University, in order to add competitive edge to the skills and qualification that I currently possess.
Besides the reputation and the excellent academic resources that the University provides to its students, I am equally fascinated by its location. Orange Country is a place that I have always loved to live around and many of my friends reside in this area so it is easier for me in terms of adapting to this place, accommodation and other living expenses.
My graduate education and work experiences have not only given me a set of distinct skills but also helped me understand where my true area of interest lies. The experience also helped me assess my academic strengths and weaknesses. This understanding has made me realize that though there are other fields like marketing that I may be good academically, but business and entrepreneurship is where my strength lies. Also, with the condition that I need to assist my father in the growth of our family business as my PhD gets better, it is an added responsibility on me to give my best and specialize in entrepreneurship in such a way that I can handle my business in any culture and in any situation, in any part of the globe.
I believe in my qualities as a good researcher and will prove to be a worthy PhD candidate at your university. I possess creativity skills that are supported by my contemplative way of thinking about diverse issues of practical significance. My strength I would say is my ability to identify relationships between variables and different components of management in a way that I have a holistic approach towards any given situation or pattern. This will prove crucial in the course that I am eager to pursue at your university. I have satisfactory communication skills and possess good interpersonal skills. I like socializing with people and making in depth analysis of any person or situation I come across, an added advantage in my chosen field of specialization.
The Chapman University is one of the most reputed institutions of management in the world with a well renowned orientation towards research. The results produced and the diversity of students exhibited at the University is of particular fascination to me. The distinguished faculty and the individualized character of the doctoral program being delivered at your college will definitely be a catalyst in bringing out the best in me individually as well as collectively.
