My friends Jeremy, Amy, Ann, George and I had gone for a vacation in Asia. Jeremy, who is one of my friends, got the idea that sailing around would be a bit fun since we could even fish on the water. Amy was the only one who was against the idea, but we managed to convince her to go sailing with us. We went looked for a boat that we could rent, rented it and started our journey.
After sailing for a couple of minutes, George insisted we explore the other side of the lake. On reaching the other side, we noticed that the weather had changed. It looked as if there was a storm approaching. We decided to go back but on trying to start the boat, the engine refused to restart. The girls were scared while George and Jeremy tried to put a shows that they could handle the situation, but most of us saw right through them. The heavy rain and storm started. Jeremy tried restarting the boat to no avail. We took the paddles that were on the boat and started rowing to the nearest place that we could see land. On reaching there, we anchored the boat and started to look if people were living on the island.
After a few hours of searching, we came to the conclusion that nobody resided on the island. We decided to make temporary shelter since we had tried communicating with some of our friends who had been left in the hotel to no avail. Quarrels emerged among us. We blamed each other and especially Jeremy and his brother for convincing us to go sail. We shared half a bottle of water amongst us.
After about a few hours on the island, we were so thirsty since the food and drinks were over. Being diabetic meant that I needed food. I could feel my blood sugar going down. I felt dizzy and collapsed. When I opened my eyes and saw my parents on another boat that had come to rescue us. I was so happy I told them they were late since we had tried calling them. I heard some voices saying that I was hallucinating and that they should try and get food for me since I was getting worse. The scene changed, and I started seeing talking monsters coming from the water saying they had come to rescue me. I screamed.
