Studying abroad has recently become pretty popular and efficient. There are many international students visiting the county for many reasons. I am able to learn the English language, undergrad and Master program. Therefore, there are many of them visiting the county year by year in order to earn their degree.
Even though there are number of international students since September 11, 2001. On the other hand, the number of American international students increased over past years. The current survey by the Institute of International Education (IIE), in 2003 and 2004, 191,321 American students attended international study abroad programs; and also 9.6% has been seen over academic years. The U.S. students studying abroad travel to Britain (16.8%), Italy (11.5%) and Spain (10.5%); however, Europe’s overall study abroad pie chard dropped by 6% (from 67 percent to 61 percent) in the last years. However, it is not as easy as in order to study abroad. There are many things and processes to be done before the person can make the decision. The first thing in decision making is one of the hardest thing of the process, because where and which place the student has to make the best decision according to their expectation. This is the most important thing to be able to find: a student’s calling. They might be consider every single part of the things, such as which county they need to choose and which city, as well as the university is the most important thing on this process because of the degree is the what matters.
Also, many American people who have studied abroad in the last decade in Africa, Asia and Latin America have increased. Nowadays, many students are studying in developing countries such as ones with health, safety and security issues. The difference between United States and Western Europe is housing and campus life. The percentage of American students are studying, mostly in Asia, by 36% in 2003-04 and China experiencing the most remarkable increase of 90%. In spite of argue, from the SARS epidemic in 2002, China is now the ninth most popular study abroad destination for American students who study overseas.
Also, American students studying in India: increased by 65% in 2003 and 2004 and Africa increased by 18% overall in 2003-04, increases of 26% in South Africa, 56% in Morocco and 89% in Egypt. South America and Brazil followed by 16% increase in 2003 and 2004 and Argentina a 52% increase. In the Middle East, there was an overall increase of 62% in 2003 and 2004, which was determined mainly interest in Israel, which increased of 96%, also increases of 124% in Jordan, 64% in Lebanon and 67% in the United Arab Emirates. Overall, the increases might be desperately misleading, especially where the real numbers are fairly small and the calculation of even a handful of participants can have a great impact. Therefore, allowing this issue, even if the trend toward studying abroad combines much more programs in developing countries. Studying is as it seems very clear as well as important. . A unique opportunity to learn the language of the country you are studying, because you would be best in college foreign language education, or get a course of very high quality. The foreign language is not enough. In order to learn a language properly, it is practical to learn with speakers of the language, way of life, the way people speak that language, values and culture. However, conversation in a foreign language can go beyond that country, you can read, work, and live until you learn the language.
Overseas experiences in many ways send you up the career ladder. Earn with overseas experience or improve your foreign language knowledge and skills, work experience in different companies in different disciplines have earned qualifications for firms will not be ignored. When we look at the company profiles of the top-level master and scholars in other countries training, work experience abroad has a greater proportion of the past. Different attitudes, different people can communicate with a strong person who can adapt to different working environment conditions is always worthwhile. In that article mentioned, they claim it is related to personality. In addition, when abroad, different companies will be faced with possible views; perhaps this will be an opportunity to continue your career in another country.
According to many people the biggest drawback living outside of country. However, in this case I think it would be an advantage. While abroad, you leave behind the things that are so important to remind you that you are not aware of even the smallest values. Also, that will bring in a more positive bring backs. Also maybe see you again, even if you win friends for life will never be forgotten. Finally, you will have the opportunity to promote your country.
Also studying abroad requires such a great conation and health before the student leave the country to study abroad. American embassy requires the visitor on healthy condition and also they want to see the criminal records. Through those processes they require as many as they can, therefore, it’s not easy thing to study abroad. Also those requirements are remarkable in order to earn a prestigious degree.
Why it is prestigious to earn a degree abroad? There are many reasons to earn this degree, because the students as soon as they deserve to earn the degree they could be able to find better job and to be more familiar with what kind of job they do. They will be able to work with better skills and the knowledge. That is why the college is the good thing that helps you to get experience than those who do not have it.
The nicest thing about studying abroad is having great friends from all over the world: Americans, Latinos, Asians and Europeans. This is wonderful, because you have international friends; this is also important, because when the person has international friends they are learning more about their culture and more about the county, as well. For example, a person might be aware of more about the world by getting interested in international news (Lux, Madison).
Also, when a person is studying abroad there are many opportunities given, like traveling while studying. There could be road trips, so international students travel as they learn and see many new things such as the history of the place and the culture. At the same time, there are many issues that can impact such as drinking or become an addict. Those are the most common issues of the college students. For instance, to become an alcoholic is the thing that the students have to avoid as it could mess up the students career once the person is addicted to alcohol there might be many issues; such as: being late for class, getting low grades and unhealthy life. Therefore, the students have to avoid alcohol or anything that can make the body worse. (Karen)
Study abroad, work, daring behavior. I live in a place you do not know. Strangers deal with people in a foreign language. With completely different cultures, people, systems and standards in the country it will be a completely different time. Sometimes the units of measurement will be in trouble and sometimes stay on the road. Also get lost, perhaps. Overcoming all of these problems will give people a unique self-confidence. I always feel confident in daily life and business life. Different people and different lifestyles of people expand horizons and allow you to gain different perspectives. New places famous for the social aspect of learning different cultures add a power, too. Man develops emotional intelligence, knowledge and skills. No unknown and the opportunity to learn in an environment you find yourself better.
In conclusion, there are thousands of people studying abroad to learn and get a better education all over the world. While a person in progress, they have to focus on what they want to be in the future or when they graduate. Therefore, studying abroad is remarkable and valuable in order to get better education. Once the person studies abroad they should know that they are doing one of the best things for themselves. Learning new things and studying is always important to improve knowledge. Studying abroad also helps you become more international, because of the high quality of education and the services. For example, the person who likes to study abroad has much more education than a person who studies in their own country. The student that likes to study abroad has more available sources and useful tools, as well.
