Increasing campaigns finance and related laws and regulations are indicative of the fact that there is an involvement of wealthy contributors who are exerting their impact on politics. Wealthy person, however, contribute more as compared to an individual whose resources are limited. The same process is found in judiciary, as wealthy individuals are influencing judiciary, and not letting it to make fair decisions as expected from judiciary. Money is exerting its influence on judicial matters as well as on judicial decisions. Strength of this paper is that it mentioned the facts that there should be no involvement of money in judicial affairs, and judges should make fair decisions. Weakness of this paper is it has not mentioned the way in which use of money in judicial matters can be controlled. It has not mentioned the way in which accountability can be ensured in judiciary. But, second paper has mentioned that in judicial affairs partisan elections are best as they help in ensuring accountability and smooth functioning in judicial affairs. Partisan elections lead to removal of judges who are not accomplishing their tasks in an effectual manner. They are advantageous as they facilitate holding of elections on regular basis, and accept logical decisions that are free from bias from judges. Partisan elections make people active politically. Strength of this paper is that it has mentioned benefits of partisan election, and weakness is that drawbacks are not mentioned. First paper mentions that campaigns play their role in making individuals politically active, while second paper mentions that partisan elections play significant role in making people active at political level. Both papers have discussed judicial aspect, and emphasize on the point that there accountability should be ensured at judicial level.
