Most Important Statements about the four Pieces of Information from the Temple of Jerusalem
It appears that the Temple of Jerusalem was associated with a lot of mysterious circumstances. It is quite unclear whether these mysteries were as a result of human expectation or they were associated with the holiness of the Temple. For instance, people considered it mysterious that the First Hebrews’ Temple was destroyed on the same date the Second Temple was destroyed. Many people have questioned whether this was a miracle or a sign from God (Holy Temples of Jerusalem and the Ark of the Covenant). It is also quite mysterious that only the High Priest was allowed to enter the inner chambers of the Temple. In fact, it is quite surprising that the High Priest had to enter the inner chambers of the Temple with a clear and pure heart. This is somehow controversial to the current Christian beliefs, given that religious facilities such as Churches welcome individuals considered sinners, viewing it as an opportunity to repent their sins and connect with God. Mysterious circumstances surrounding the Temple of Jerusalem haven’t been explained until to-date. Besides, these Temples had many symbols whose meanings are still a mystery.
In summary, it appears that the designs and the use of the temples focused on the creation of mysterious circumstances as a means of enhancing the faith of believers. The use of many symbolic images, the fact that only the high priest entered the inner chambers of the Temple and with a pure mind is quire interesting issues. Mystery appears to have been a key feature of religion; also, it seems that individuals also made attempts to create mystery out of any issue that was associated with religion i.e. the destruction of the first Temple of the Hebrews and the Second Temple on the same date was viewed as miraculous.
