Software Piracy
Introduction
Software piracy is the most widespread unethical functioning on a massive scale within the IT (Information Technology) industry. It is easy to steal software and copy it from a friend’s laptop, office or college computer. Downloading software from illegal websites and peer-to-peer download sites like torrent is one the most existing phenomenon prevalent in present times ("The Software Alliance").
The BSA Global Software Survey covers the year of 2013, where data from a survey of personal computer users was collected by IDC. The data collected was from nearly 22,000 users of PC and 2000 IT managers.
In the year 2013, it was revealed that software piracy was increased by as much as 1 percent from 42 percent in 2011 to 43 percent in 2013.
The report from BSA reveals that based on the commercial value of unauthorized software installations Americas, Asia, and European regions were amongst the top economies with unlicensed software. Vietnam, Korea, and Australia regions were the five economies with lowest commercial figures of unlicensed software installations ("BSA Global Software Survey: The Compliance Gap: Methodology").
India, China, and America are the top three countries with the highest rate of piracy and unlicensed software usage. United States is at the top of the chart with a highest unlicensed value of $9,373 followed by China with $8,767 and the India with $2,911. However, the unlicensed rate of software usage is the highest at Venezuela with 88%, followed by Indonesia at 84% and Vietnam with 81% piracy rates ("BSA Global Software Survey: The Compliance Gap: Methodology").

Architecture and Construction
Architecture is the starting point for constructing a robust and beautifully designed building. Earlier architects used to draw a plan on blueprints, papers using hand-written techniques while now computer software programs like CAD (Computer-Aided Designs) are used for that purpose.
The advancement of technology has impacted the construction industry as well. Construction workers are increasingly being replaced by construction robots for performing high-risk work and also for filling the labor gap in developed countries like the United States of America.
