A petite anxiety can formulate someone to actually want to learn inflexible so that the outcome and the consequent results will actually be well. In this overview, students in the teen age tend to inculcate the various measures in place to help them curb the circumstances (Linda 2006 p.25).
But rather at erstwhile times, nervousness actually can be detrimental. This is in particular while it is extreme and irrational. This consequently put off an individual from being able to focus on the various situations around them. A clear example is when an individual is anxious concerning their relationship with others such as teen friends. This causes many of the teen individuals to actually concentrate with issues that aim at elevating their relationship back to normal and feel the context under which they are in between the others, and fully feel the warmth and enjoy teenage life (Michael 2009 p.40).
Many teens actually try to find ways to manage with the elevated anxiety they feel. This is because the numerous situations do present them with tough decisions to decide their way forward which effectively makes them nervous. In these circumstances before the young adults, it’s important to be acquainted with your emotions. In this context is for someone to know what they are actually their emotions and why they are feeling that way. In this essence, recognizing the diverse types of circumstances that is the basis your anxiety is ready to lend a hand as well in the process of solving it efficiently (Linda 2006 p. 50).
The anxious situations among the young adults actually tend to fluctuate and vary from one individual to another. This is because the mood pattern varies among the many individuals. In this context for an individual to effectively admit that one is actually anxious, sometimes the issue of just admitting that a condition is stressful and being prepared to handle it can reduce a person’s anxiety. If an individual does inculcate these simple channels and tranquil have too much unease regarding the condition, actually seeking treatment from a health care proficient or psychotherapist is actually recommended to be the next step (Kennedy 2010 p. 28).
Anxiety among the young adults can be measured in many ways to determine the degree of it and the effects in has incurred over the individual. An example is when an individual feels anxious, worried, and or rather afraid for no particular reason at all. In this essence normally, teens experiences apprehension for the reason, somewhat of specific akin to an examination or departing out on a date with their friends. But if there are no palpable grounds for individual feelings, this definitely raises anxiety echelon which may be too high.
Anxiety continues to manifest itself in the many diverse ways among the teens. This means that the levels advances more and becomes extreme in the context that can be noticed. An example is when an individual does worry too much in relation to daily proceedings or actions. Some worry is actually regular. Other than not if a teen is all the time perturbing regarding effects that are not unusual, this communicates a message that the anxiety rank is actually too high (Kennedy 2010 p. 68).
Further the anxiety level progresses to a higher level among the individual teens if, one repeatedly verify whether they did somewhat right. While it's regular for one to confirm something one does to make sure that is in no doubt it's right, continuous test out it once more is a indication that one have greatly much anxiety. Another situation is when an individual is so frightened that one becomes not capable to perform the role in definite specific situations an example is taking relevant tests and other challenging tasks to the teen (Miller 2010 p.156).
In the human biology, it’s wholly typical to worry when circumstances get frantic and intricate. In this essence, it highlights the foreseen high anxiety associated with the young adults. But if worries become overwhelming, you may feel that they're running your life. If a person spend an excessive amount of time feeling worried or nervous or rather have difficulty sleeping because of anxiety, one should pay attention to the thoughts and feelings. They may be symptoms of an anxiety problem or disorder (Miller 2008 p.102).
The anxiety expressed by the teenage category of age invalidates the condition that, Anxiety is a normal human response that involves mind and body. This is because it serves a significant fundamental survival purpose. Nervousness is an alarm scheme that is activated when a person senses risk or intimidation. This serves to explain the context that causes the various teens to react differently to the above circumstances. Consequently, when the body and mind respectively act in response to danger or threat, a person feels physical sensations of anxiety (Linda 2006 p. 88).
The associated body reactions that follow the process are things like a faster heartbeat and breathing, also edgy muscles, perspiring palms, a queasy stomach, and wobbly hands or legs. These ambiences are element of the body's fight-flight reaction. They are consequently caused by a rush of adrenaline and erstwhile relevant chemicals that arrange the body to make a rapid retreat from danger. Consequently, these changes can be mild or rather extreme depending on the situation presented to the person (Kennedy 2010 p. 200).
Teenagers experience a lot of worries and stress from daily activities like school life and family issues for example pressure from their parents. The fear from such stressful situations may accumulate and consequently results in disorders which may affect their lives if not responded to earlier. Anxiety disorders may arise all along with other psychological or physical illnesses, including alcohol or other substance abuse which may worsen the anxiety symptoms making them more severe. These additional illnesses that may mask the anxiety disorders should be treated before responding to those other disorders which results from the worries and fear (Edna 2006 p. 67).
Anxiety disorders may result from the panic attacks, which may be an inherited disorder. The panic disorder can be characterized by abrupt attacks of fright which are accompanied by sweating, weakness, faintness or dizziness. These attacks makes people feel chilled, their hands may feel numb and they may lead to occurrence of nausea, chest pains and smothering sensations. These attacks may produce a feeling of unreality as well as fear of losing control making them to be filled with doom. These panic disorders may be as a result of people being restricted from normal activities like driving. Some teenagers are even shy of the public. These disorders may be accompanied by other serious problems like depression, drug abuse and alcoholism (Brian 2010 p. 108).
Anxiety may be as a result of physical harm like rape which is traumatic in nature if the victim keeps on remembering and having flashbacks of the obscene acts. When young adults witness terrible events happening to their loved ones it may result in traumatic conditions to the victims as well as mental depression. This anxiety disorders may also result from traumatic incidents like car accidents and mugging or natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes. The individuals should therefore try as much as possible to avoid situations that may remind them of the original terrible incidents (Brian 2010 p. 248).
Most of the young adults are excessively anxious of being watched and by others. Some may even fear to talk to people or even eating with their friends. This social anxiety may also be accompanied by other depressions and substance abuse especially if people try to medicate themselves.
Many young people develop anxiety disorders that results from general conditions such worry about health issues, family problems and job technicalities. The teenagers may experience a lot of pressure as they struggle to establish themselves for example building their own settlements or even paying rents and bills since most of them earn low incomes or even none. This pressure may result in low self esteem and being unhappy, depressed and stressed. The fact that most young people are not employed gives them a lot of pressure since most of them do not talk about their problems publicly and this makes it difficult to help them (Edna 2006 p.234).
Most of the teenagers engage in relationships that may end up frustrating them due to break ups and desperations. This may cause some of them even commit suicides as a result of these relationship issues. Some young people are afraid approaching others base on relationship issues and this makes it difficult to date. This fear of approaching others for dating cause a lot of anxiety and leads to disorders. This anxiety may block someone’s way to love. Anxiety about relationships may make someone ill since it reduces the immunity since the stress hormone cartisol is produced.
Anxiety can be reduced through behavioural processes like avoiding recreational drugs which contains substances that accelerate anxiety. This can also be done by doing a lot of physical exercises so as to reduce the levels of stimulants like nicotine in their systems. Poor nutrition can also hasten anxiety since stimulants like caffeine perpetuate panic attacks, deficiency of certain vitamins and minerals can also increase your anxiety. Avoidance of feared situations or situations that you faced high levels of anxiety in the past (Allen 2008 p. 120).
Unhealthy beliefs which most people develop during their childhood are responsible for our emotions because they are associated with fear and anxiety. Lack of self esteem and self worth is eroded to a further extent when someone continues to experience high levels of anxiety and believe that you lack control of the emotions.
Lack of the ability to express your feelings, emotions and needs in an open and direct way will lead to resentment which accelerates anxiety. Lack of purpose in life such that someone sees their life to be meaningful and lack sense exacerbates the anxiety. When teenagers express their emotions freely, it helps them reduce levels of anxiety to low levels (Allen 2008 p. 200).
In an environment where the teenager is looked down upon, it makes them stressed and develops levels of anxiety. Lack of nurturing, affection and support also contributes greatly to increased anxiety.
Hence in conclusion the anxiety that the teens does experience in reaction to the various situations vary depending on the same diverse situations. This is because their bodies are still young and active so the responses to these situations can be mild or rather extreme, which can have devastating effects on them.
